Got these splits after a quick half hour.

T1: 32.399
T2: 54.801

I'm no good at tuning though, so i'll try one of these tunes next time.

It has a turbo? Is it made out of lego, I hadn't noticed...

No turbo, my mistake. :dunce:
I was assuming it had the 4 cylinder with a turbo.

I wonder what that whining sound is then?

Ran 10 laps last night and here is my first set of splits:

T1 32.046
T2 54.081

I like this car and track combo, so much less of a nightmare than trying to take that DB9 round Suzuka!!

No complaints sofar?

So the car is ok,tires ok?

.................;):P..

No complaints here.:sly:

I "pretended" the TLD car has a turbo because of the massive power (for a 4cyl) and horrible power curve.:P

Is my girlfriend in the back seat?

He can probably still hear the voices from DB9 week.

Nice combo sjaak:tup:
Gona try it with TLD tune.

EDIT: I am not so sure I will drive becaouse of my homework and my brothers birthday..I hope I will.

Where are all the aliens this week btw? How can Animera and I (but mainly me) be the top 2 still?

Too busy and I don't like events where tuning is required, depends too much on the tune. Not driving skill. But i'm really busy this week anyway, so I won't be competing.

Small improvement.

T1: 31.848
T2: 53.651

Hey hey, you're not allowed to improve.:P

How insulting.:P

Improvement:

T1: 32.058
T2: 53.826

I don't think this week is as much about the tune as you may think. I'm running TLD and I'm pretty sure it's driving skill that's keeping Paulie and Animera ahead of me at this stage.

I tried the DC tune and I think there is too much understeer in the tune to compete with the TLD for me personally. I also found higher camber values were not helping during cornering and overall laptime.

All the best

Camber is a much more tricky thing to set with FWD cars, because you want very even traction to both drive wheels, you normally set the car up so the weight is distributed as evenly as possible between them, and the higher camber you go, the less contact patch the inner wheel has, as well as less contact patch in general in a straight line. Probably less vital at a high speed track like this, but still a factor. That's my take on it anyway. The question is, is mine too high.:nervous:

Just did a second session on this combo. Started out with TLD tune, tried raising the rear ride heigt for a while, but it wasn't working, so put everything back to TLD-spec :)

Improved splits:
T1: 32.282
T2: 54.343

Further improvements are gonna be hard to come by, me thinks...

I know I've done my job right, nay, "damn right!", when I see people have tried modifying my setup and found that coming back to my original tune was the best way to go.:) I can't wait until Thursday to try and put more time in and gnaw back at Animera's splits.:sly:

First laps, 30 or so, with TLD's tune (thanks mate).

T1: 31.831
T2: 53.789

Well this one is a bit easier than the Aston... just ran 20 laps with THE PAD and got the following...

T1 31.991
T2 53.882

Will give it a proper go with the wheel at some stage.

T1: 31.994
T2: 53.912

Far from finished

Edit: Using the TLD tune

Quick go with the wheel...

T1 31.822
T2 53.666

A slight improvement...

T1 32.081
T2 53.978

After a 10 lap stint this evening and the slowest T1 of all of my attempts, made up for it in T2 & 3!!

More to come....

Updated the leaderboard, its been a while so let me know if I made any errors 👍 as there are many new faces and more divisions :P I've been sick as a dog the past 4 days (not swine flu haha) and I may give the TLD tune a go if I feel better this week.
