hmm, I had a go with the sixaxis (don't ask me why) and after 10 laps I realized:

.2s faster then with my g25, and it was like months ago I played with the sixaxis

Yes, I noticed that this combo was quite pad friendly when I first ran it last night... haven't used the pad in almost a year, yet set a competitive time in 20 laps and 10 of those were with the wrong gearing!

Having said that, went 0.2 quicker with the wheel almost immediately.

First laps in the Mazda seemed ok so I did 10 in standard form. Next 10 in a gearbox andride height adjustment, springs/dampers 1.1 secs faster, next camber,toe and gearbox tweaks 0.3 faster, next21 laps no improvement

I did a 53.911 off of a 32.104. I promptly decided to stop for tea in the U-bend.

When I brake a couple of feet earlier for the 2nd corner, I shall get below 32!

Edit: Changed the brake balance on my car to 4/9, dropped almost a tenth at the line. Splits to come later, no time to check my replay and post them now. And those are some great splits posted by Animera and Stotty.👍

Got to be at least another 0.05-0.10 in T1 for me. At least consistency is not difficult to come by this week, most laps running no more than a tenth slower unless you make a silly error.

And just look at how close division 2 is! Four guys running within 0.02sec of each other.

Given how much difference the last turn makes to the lap time, and it's difficult to nail 100%, the final results are going to be interesting.

Me too. I've managed to get very slightly quicker T1, but after that I just sit and watch as my ghost car pulls away and leaves me behind Maybe I've peaked!!!

20 laps done last night and not one of them got near my fastest time....maybe there's something in the air (Not refering to swine flu...though I have sneezed this morning )

Am I the only one who gets annoyed when you jump into a session and suddenly do good T1s and poor T2s, having done good T2s and poor T1s? Infuriating.

I'm determined to get a 53.7xx at T2 for this event. Luckily I have a weekend off at last!
