GTP_WRS Week 27 : Mazda Atenza @ High Speed Ring

Hi guys, this is my first WRS and I am enjoying it very much. My best splits so far are.

T1- 31.930
T2- 53.790

I should also mention that I am using TLD tune, I am in Div2bronze and I use the DFGT.

Am I the only one who gets annoyed when you jump into a session and suddenly do good T1s and poor T2s, having done good T2s and poor T1s? Infuriating.

Welcome to the WRS Ash.
A very small improvement to T2, but almost a full tenth off the total lap.

T1: 31.859
T2: 53.650
 
I have the same thing :X. I just did a good T1 31.85X then failed the rest. And had a bad T1 and a good T2 53.7XX. So kinda sucked.
 
I'll have another go later today, where are all these tunes at? I've had look in the tuning forum but can't see anything there.

EDIT: Just the A.R.S.E one I'm looking for, that seems to be the quickest, found the others.

The ARSE tune, I have no idea where that is.
 
Wouldn't get too hung up on the tune... if you look at the top D2 T2 splits (2 using TLD, 2 using A.R.S.E.) they are covered by just 2 100th's - to me it seems the TLD/A.R.S.E tunes are similar in overall potential though might be quicker in different sectors.
 
I'll submit too this week if I can be arsed and find the time to run a few laps 👍
 
BAH, I potential lap to improve by 0.1sec and the only thing I did wrong was hesitate and not hit throttle early enough at the esses.:ouch: Now I'll have to give this another go tomorrow night. I had one lap that was 6 hundredths faster but I think it was dirty.:dunce:

PS- Timppaq, why are you using the ARSE tune, I thought you did your own tunes.:P (Or maybe this is your tune?💡)

And you're serious? As in, you've tried your tune, the ARSE tune and mine and you think the ARSE is better for you? I'm just trying to figure out the rolleyes smilie in your post above.
 
New splits. Slightly slower at the line, but I'm more comfortable that I definitely did not scrape any paint on the final turn.

T1: 31.874
T2: 53.631

And I've not tried anything yet. But arse is still always better.

Went half a second quicker at T2 with TLD tune.

T1: 32.241
T2: 54.324

Still think I can go a bit quicker, not sure I've found the fastest way around the last corner.

Seen one 31.9 T1 sofar.

Hi all,

Managed to find some more time...

T1 32.011
T2 53.945

And a much, much better final sector

I'm hoping at some point I might get my T1 time into the 31s and at least chop half a second off T2
