Maybe my great T3 is a result of my bad T2?

2 tenths at the line.

Still trying to figure out my issue in T2. My T3 is a personal best now and there's another half tenth left in T1.

Sounds just like what I've doing.Got .3 at the line, but T1/T2 was slightly slower. Damn last corner is giving me fits, when I get better t1/T2's I screw up the last corner.
I dunno, sounds pretty close to my GTI when I would overcook it into a corner...This track also highlights the need for better tire sounds.

Anyone else feel that the right hand kink at the end of sector 2 is a fine game of Russian roulette?

Don't give up mate. I have weeks like that as well, actually most of them, and I just walk away for a day or so then have another bash with fresh spirits and fresh ideas on line, approach etc.
Have you tried quickly tapping the x button when trying to accelerate out of tricky corners, before getting back on the power fully? I know I've seen some of the top DS3 Seasonal drivers using that technique...Thank you for the encouragement but I doubt I will get any improvement. With a car like this, my limited skill cannot allow me to drive similar lines/turns....there are always big differences for every lap (not helped by using x/o buttons but don't have a choice). I may try again later in the week but I don't expect any improvement (was the same with the FXX...set my best lap on my second day, couldn't get within a second of it at all after that)

Also when I use the DS3, I use the right stick for accelerate and o for brake, just putting it out there. I'd hate to see an enthusiastic member such as yourself disappear due to the combos being discouraging.
Don't worry Gravitron, I won't be disappearing from the WRS....I really loved the week 1 TT with the Audi so am waiting for another one with more corners that I can sink my teeth into, specifically more lower speed corners. I have never been very good with slippery rear wheel drive cars (though am slowly starting to understand them and am better than I used to be).
Right stick I tried but just get confused trying to use both sticks at once!! As for tapping the x button, I vaguely use that but not that much....I used it to great effect with the Shifter Kart@GT Arena but, for some reason, forget it when using normal cars. I may just try running the car in free run to iron things out without the pressure I am putting on myself with trying to beat my ghost/time
