Better by a hundredth thru sector 2, but 2 tenths better at the line. I must have had a pretty bad t3 on my last best lap. If I can get my best T2 time, I have a few tenths left to get. The 90 at the beginning of T2 seems to be my make or break point.

29.767
56.667

2 tenths at the line.

29.483
55.967

Still trying to figure out my issue in T2. My T3 is a personal best now and there's another half tenth left in T1.

Maybe my great T3 is a result of my bad T2?

How the heck did you get a .4 in t1? My gosh... nice job. There's nothing in t2 that should be making your t3 better unless you're somehow getting a better run at the end o.O

I really am struggling with this one. I have managed to cut at least 2 sec at the line off my first day attempts but still only about 5th from bottom.
New splits
30.431
57.864

Got .3 at the line, but T1/T2 was slightly slower. Damn last corner is giving me fits, when I get better t1/T2's I screw up the last corner.
Sounds just like what I've doing.
This is NOT an easy combo.
So many places where the slightest mistake is costly.
Still, you are logging splits which is more than I have today.
But there's another day tomorrow.

Finally got a good session in and knocked a second off my previous best lap time.

30.267
57.717

This track also highlights the need for better tire sounds.:yuck:

Anyone else feel that the right hand kink at the end of sector 2 is a fine game of Russian roulette?

I've lost so many good times there. You have to basically go all in on it too or you will lose time all the way up to the double right.

Work is S.M.A.S.H.I.N.G me at the moment but I finally found some time for a quick run:

30.050
57.250

That was after about 5 laps...I *hope* I can have another go because I love slower cars 👍

Don't give up mate. I have weeks like that as well, actually most of them, and I just walk away for a day or so then have another bash with fresh spirits and fresh ideas on line, approach etc.

Thank you for the encouragement but I doubt I will get any improvement. With a car like this, my limited skill cannot allow me to drive similar lines/turns....there are always big differences for every lap (not helped by using x/o buttons but don't have a choice). I may try again later in the week but I don't expect any improvement (was the same with the FXX...set my best lap on my second day, couldn't get within a second of it at all after that)

Have you tried quickly tapping the x button when trying to accelerate out of tricky corners, before getting back on the power fully? I know I've seen some of the top DS3 Seasonal drivers using that technique...

Also when I use the DS3, I use the right stick for accelerate and square for brake, just putting it out there. I'd hate to see an enthusiastic member such as yourself disappear due to the combos being discouraging. :(

Don't worry Gravitron, I won't be disappearing from the WRS....I really loved the week 1 TT with the Audi so am waiting for another one with more corners that I can sink my teeth into, specifically more lower speed corners. I have never been very good with slippery rear wheel drive cars (though am slowly starting to understand them and am better than I used to be).

Right stick I tried but just get confused trying to use both sticks at once!! As for tapping the x button, I vaguely use that but not that much....I used it to great effect with the Shifter Kart@GT Arena but, for some reason, forget it when using normal cars. I may just try running the car in free run to iron things out without the pressure I am putting on myself with trying to beat my ghost/time

I use L2/R2...also tapping sometimes....and I think this TT is easier for DS3-Users than other TT's

And the BB is 5/1
