As for tapping the x button, I vaguely use that but not that much....I used it to great effect with the Shifter Kart@GT Arena but, for some reason, forget it when using normal cars. I may just try running the car in free run to iron things out without the pressure I am putting on myself with trying to beat my ghost/time
The Bimmer at GT Arena seems like a good way to observe (its) weight transfer. I should take my own advice.

Hmm, Fetchy just rejected my submission, but I have done everything that I was supposed to do.
Surely all these errors are not right?
@Gravitron or someone please help me identify what is wrong?
Thank you :)

Submission for week 3 is REJECTED!

Errors:
SuspensionKit does not match null
TransmissionKit does not match null
DriveShaft does not match null
EngineTuning does not match null
EngineComputer does not match null
Exhaust does not match null
ExhaustManifold does not match null
CatalicConvertor does not match null
Intake does not match null
Turbo does not match null
Nitro does not match null
BallastWeight does not match null
BallastPosition does not match null
WeightReduction does not match null
Hood does not match null
WindowWeightReduction does not match null

I use L2/R2...also tapping sometimes....and I think this TT is easier for DS3-Users than other TT's

And the BB is 5/1

Agreed this TT is easier for DS3 users....can't imagine a harder one than the FXX lol. I tried using L2/R2 in the Week 1 TT and it did help me control the car but I can't use those buttons for long as it makes my hands hurt too much (another lovely side-effect of painkillers!).

Hmm...that BB is interesting as I found a more rear bias worked better as it allowed me to brake and turn at the same time which is how I usually drive, whereas a 5 front bias meant I had to finish braking before the corner (initially tried 5/5, then moved to 3/7 and 2/8). May give 5/1 a go to see if it helps, thanks

In my opinion the car is more stable and easier to control

Sorry Stevious, did not mean to hurt. I like your post because like everyone else here you are doing your best and KINDNESS is good for the soul.

Here is the the problem: You have too many upgrades fitted on your car: from the OP:

Driving Options:
  • Transmission: Auto or Manual
  • Tires: Comfort Soft (C3) (Front and Rear)
  • Driving Line | Traction Control | ASM | ABS: Optional
  • Brake Balance: Optional
  • Active Steering | Skid Recovery Force: Prohibited
  • Tuning: The following tuning parts are allowed:
    • Sports Computer
    • Exhaust Manifold
    • Intake Manifold
    • Sports Catalytic Converter
No other tuning, custom parts, weight reduction, ballast adjustment, or chassis reinforcement are allowed. We can verify these things from the replays.
  • In-Race RA Functions: Allowed

You have to buy a new car and only fit what is specifed there.

OK Thanks Nemo, I know all that and I have not changed my car at all, with any of those upgrades.
I was just asking a mod if it could be a fetchy error

wtf a huggy? Dude, don't start that. Please. I've just been watching ufc

Ok, Stevious, I hope it gets fixed for you. Really.
Nothing wrong with a good sweaty, manly huggy :P

I am a very unorthodox driver too. I use a DS3, X for go, square for stop, automatic transmission, left stick steering, and I still got a top 5 finish in the race yesterday afternoon. :D I tried using the trigger buttons for throttle, brakes, or shifting, but could never get it down. Muscle memory won't let me use the stick for anything else other than steering because when I first started playing GT back in the 1990's there was no such thing as a stick on a PS controller...I used the D-pad to steer and thankfully broke that habit after playing GT5 for a year. :dopey:

I have a DFGT wheel, but my living room is not set up to use one without hogging all the couch cushions, moving the table out of the way, and running the wires across the floor. Needless to say that the wife is not a fan of that, so until I get a little bit of a budget for another TV to throw in the other room, I won't be using one of my most prized possessions. :ouch: Another reason why that sucks is because I can use a manual transmission when I use the wheel, but the DS3 is too difficult for me to shift with.

Fetchy had a little headache

I've asked it before and I'll now ask it again:

Are you sure we shouldn't be worried about Fetchy's voyeurism?. It looks like he is now suffering headaches...I'm a bit worried about what may be next! I think we need a second Fetchy to share the watching as it is clearly too much for just one Fetchy, as good as he is

It is so hard to be cool and drive calmly when those tens ands hundreds are winking in and out... just had an improvement over all, was ahead of my ghost and blew it in the last corner by being just a tad eager on the throttle going through. :banghead: :D

You would not need to buy a new car.. as each car can have 3 totally separate set ups.. A, B, & C.. however I think an oil change would effect all 3 options.. as I understand it..

Yes, correct. I thought I saw a chassi improvement in the list - my bad.👎

Figured I may as well post the splits from my minisculey (That's not a word but it fits! Let's hope the spelling and grammar police don't notice ) improved time yesterday, even though it's 1/2 second off my current ultimate pace for those sectors:

S1: 29.948
S2: 57.132

Maybe a little tip:

After the hairpin in T2, if you are on the curb the revs drop a little back, don't shift up to 3rd to soon, wait until it just doesn`t hit the limiter.

Gained some time with it, also you need the curbs (both) in the kink to take it fast.

Yes, every time I am chasing ghost, and shift too early there, the ghost just leaves me in the dust. That hairpin can really kill your lap.
