@kreezydoed also a good tip is to make note of the fastest mph per crucial turn. The first corner of t1 I let off the brakes around 72 mph, coasting to 66-67 before applied throttle. First corner of t2 I brake until about 50 mph then feather until the pavement changes before flooring it. The kink I use all 3 curbing. The best I've managed with it is coming out at 86 mph.. its hit or miss for me. The last sector I take the same as the first sector.

Can't seem to nail the kink on T2 I've managed to be 0.4 up on my ghost on entry but on exit my ghost flys past me like I'm standing still frustration is creeping in.

I've asked it before and I'll now ask it again:

Are you sure we shouldn't be worried about Fetchy's voyeurism?. It looks like he is now suffering headaches...I'm a bit worried about what may be next! I think we need a second Fetchy to share the watching as it is clearly too much for just one Fetchy, as good as he is
Maybe Fetchy is a female!!

:tup:THANK you!!👍

by changing units and using your target-speeds, I can now see improvement in time, if not in cleanliness :D

@Killermiller24 : thank you very much for the brake bias advice. Have run 8 laps and improved my overall time. Have also managed a sub 57 S2 split but hit the wall slightly on exit. The car definitely is more stable in all the major corners so feel now that I have hope of improving further. It is surprising as I struggled with a front bb of 5 at the beginning but it's the rear that is obviously more important. Thank you once again, much appreciated 👍

@Firecracker : Nope, Fetchy is definitely male...no female is that voyeuristic, although I still worry that Fetchy's voyeurism will lead to him cross-dressing

Its a bit of trial and error. You may be able to carry more speed.. just experiment around with different lines and different speeds. Sometimes its better to brake early with 75% throttle than it is to late brake. Or sometimes hold onto a gear a little longer under braking as opposed to banging it off the rev limiter

Thats nice...never give up :)

Slower than last week of course but having trouble chasing my ghost. No consistency watsoever...first splits
29.854
57.187

I got some time in the hour before dinner last night. First splits:

29.784
57.017

I've caught up to my ghost in the S2 right-hander, so I know there is a lot to find just in that one corner. Then there's the last corner in S2. It's all about smooth weight transfer across the car--or at least, that's my goal from turn to turn. I don't think I'll get another shot at this until tomorrow.

My impression of the 2002 so far: weight transfer you can feel!:)

I have a DFGT wheel, but my living room is not set up to use one without hogging all the couch cushions, moving the table out of the way, and running the wires across the floor. Needless to say that the wife is not a fan of that, so until I get a little bit of a budget for another TV to throw in the other room, I won't be using one of my most prized possessions. :ouch: Another reason why that sucks is because I can use a manual transmission when I use the wheel, but the DS3 is too difficult for me to shift with.

I was in the same boat. Had a DFGT for years but it was a pain to set up a table/chair. I got this http://playseatamerica.com/index.php/racing-seats/challenge-seat for xmas and it rocks. Easy to fold up and tuck away.

Starting to see consistent under 30s times for S1 and have twice gone under 57s for S2 split...but brushed the barrier on entry to that corner and the second one I hit the barrier just after the split. Both sectors have been faster individually which would be .250 quicker but have improved my total lap time by a huge margin this evening so am happy:

S1: 29.861
S2: 56.927

Very good...I'm very happy for you
I try and try...and try....and cant made a better lap....
it's frustrating, haha

Yeah I can understand the frustration...I had it last week with the FXX, did my best lap on second day and couldn't get within 1.5 seconds of it after that...was so annoying.
