Small split improvement, but a lot at the line. First thought I did a lot better, but my splits aren't still satisfying...

LOL. Same here.
Saw my ghost in mirror 3 laps in a row in all sectors. I thought "WOW I'm getting good!"
Than I saw my prior time on this board and realize I wasn't "that" good and my dream was over.

So I'm back to hard work, at least it pays back.

Wow. Much improved tonight. Consistently in the 29s and 56s. Happy with my new times, but t3 was awful. Only just beat my ghost, even with a 56.5xx

Just shocked the hell out of my self with a cracking lap I thought for sure it was dirty on exit of last corner but watched the reply it was just the rears on the rumble strip

T1 29.580
T2 56.358

My T3 I lost 0.1 to my ghost but was still up by 0.247 at the line

New splits:

29.761
56.577

:tup:Slightly worse T1 (not sure how i managed that first one) but much better T2 and around 1 second at the line.

Will probly have one more go at this can definatley see some room for improvement!

I'm not finding much time this week at all and my G27 is starting to squeek. I hope I can get some more in this weekend because I feel I'm just starting to get a handle on this.

29.840

New Splits and final got into the 56.xxx T2, but threw away that lap on the final turn, which would have dropped my lap time significantly. I finally got this course down to a better science just a matter of putting it together...

30.054
57.054

strange T splits...

Its good to be back. Here's my first splits for GT6 :)

30.083
57.100

Better splits, but lost most of it in T3 :( Looks like this will have to do for this one.

Almost got this together. Unfortunately this will be my last chance this week, got Snowboarding up in Killington once I finish work tomorrow. I saw 56.xxx and now am constantly in the 29.xxx. That line through the first corners is great if it is hit right, and screwy if you don't. Even with what progress has been done, I still see at least 1.5 seconds off my final if I can get a perfect lap. No Alien over here though lol :-)

Sorry for the double post, not sure if Fetchy is only taking from new posts or not. new splits

I am noticing a lot of my splits are posting the same .XXX it is really strange.

Scratch that after watching it a town I hit a wall... ok, didn't do it. after checking the replay it was the sound of the wheel hitting the curb... that is crazy.

so it stands

Sorry for the double post (where is everybody tonight?), but you guys HAVE to try the WRS Race for this combo.

The car drives so much smoother on-line. The way the rear slides is very controllable on-line, so long as you stay off the curbs :)

Before saying "no way" to the race, give a practice room a try 👍

Wow, all the time spent low PP shuffle racing in GT5 apparently paid off:

29.500
55.917

T2 is deceiving, I didn't exit with good momentum and had a slow run up the hill, then an ugly entry and some wheelspin on exit of the final turn killed the final sector. I have pulled past my ghost just after T2 several times, by a good margin, only to bungle the final series of turns, so I will have to give it another go.

It's such an odd little beast, almost like a clumsy Elise at times-twitching, bobbing up and down and back and forth between understeer and oversteer, yet you can affect the cars trajectory significantly (even when sliding) with small (and sometimes large!) inputs at the wheel and pedals. Wicked.

Well I tried to better my time but it wasn't to be not tonight anyway almost half a second off my best so I just gave up.

This is a really good combo but it can be so cruel at times.

Managed a solid improvement last night, but could not convince myself that I did not drag a wheelnut on the fence at the exit of the last corner. At the closest point in photomode the sun was shining off my car such that it looked the same colour as the fence :ouch:. Hopefully I can do it again. I think I have worked out what lines I want to try and maintain through each corner. Just have to do it on the same lap. I dont remember ever seeing so many blue sectors without finishing a lap :banghead:

I still haven't connected a good T1 to a fastest lap, but did find another couple of tenths at the finish. 👍

29.734

56.250

My problem in T1 was that it required a much different line to what was quickest the last time I remember doing the WRS there, way back near the start of GT5 (the HPA Audi). In that one, the fast line involved nearly hitting the outside wall on the double right. This time, if you get anywhere near it, you have already lost several tenths.

After a little online practice with pilmat (and leaching some tips from him), decided to run my first offline laps:

29.866
56.383

I saw a few better first sectors, but ruined by later wall taps.
Gettin' a bit friendly with my rear bumper there, bud. Just remember I like to brake early and soft. :P

Seriously though, glad you and @pilmat found the online car to be a bit less manic with the extra fuel weight. 👍
