We will continue testing.sooner or later this will be,or not.

It's funny how well balanced these combos are (kudos to the mods team). Sometimes you get in the car and think "this one is too easy" until you take a look at the leaderboard and try to match the splits you see there :)

The new FFB model has much better feel for the front wheels slipping. I'm sure people with good pedals can run higher brake force but 3 seems to be good for just mashing the brake pedal.

Is that what that is? I used to run 1 abs with 7 or 8 on the front brake. It seems now with those settings, that first contact with the brake pedal acts like no abs with the fronts locking up for an instance and the front feels like it is sliding. Playing with the abs and the torque settings seems to help but I don't think it has gone away completely.:(

First GO on the Dino and I thought it was fast but it wasn't
Like the combo so I will drive some more laps.

BTW does anyone have a Video of a lap at "Worthless Willow" ( the unofficial nick name for "Streets of Willow")....(I trained on the "Big Track" and find it very much fun to drive...I actually "fell off of the hill"...very exciting moment...stuck throttle). Streets of Willow was actually designed as an automotive (not racing) testing track and was not used for Racing until sometime this decade.

I know we can't post a video with the Dino....any car will do...my line is...shall we say....inconsistently awful and therefore most likely wrong. There must be some "flow" that I am missing. Love the car...but it make take more skill than I possess to drive this car on this track somewhat quickly. LOL

Better now I was trying to "hurry" the car...with the result that the front and rear were every so gracefully meeting each other

Fancy GT's Offline mode but Online with real races instead of AI, including bonus events from 3D3/WRS Organized races and TT's.

Have a look at the thread GTP_3D3/WRS Career Championship to check it out.

Registration is open now for the first Bonus event which is Week 36: DinoSOWr in which you will receive 2500 cr towards your first car for sending in your fastest lap replay for this event.

Even if you cannot make the 1st set of online races it's worth adding some Credit if you wish to participate in future events :)

Good Luck

Second outing today on the Streets of Willow Springs and I drove like the coppers were on my tail so I could gain a tenth in all 3 sectors and ended up with these splits.

Maybe late on tonight a last session but I think my social real life gets the upper hand 👍

I presume those of us who do the checks will have the range of acceptable start-line speeds given to us sometime around closing time Monday.
Sorry for the delay in answering, but no need to wait until the deadline, S/F line speeds can be discussed. 80mph/128kph is what we've come up with as the max speed you should see at the very start of the replay, when doing checks.

This is a good conversation point, I am always looking at S/F line speed. It seems in some combos that, the top speed is gained on a full lap prior to hot lap. On others I feel like I can hit it on a restart straight away. Is this something that is considered when the combo is created? Obvi it was thought about on this one. Not trying to create a controversy, but this is the first time that I can remember that S/F speed would be a consideration for DQ. Perhaps it is because SofWS has the layout that requires that consideration? ....As an addendum, can we talk about how we got to a certain speed at S/F? i.e; "I ran to the edge of the cones, put it in reverse, and then hammered it to S/F?" I did not do that for the record, but it does beg the question.
