Yup, that's it exactly! I used to live 10 miles South of Willow and went there just once!!The problem with this track has nothing to do with the layout. It's just too far out in the middle of nowhere! I mean nobody shows up to watch us here. Look how many people showed up last week at High Speed Ring. It was almost standing room only. Here, there's what...half a dozen photographers at the most! Pathetic! Where's our PR and Advertising guys when you need them?
I tried to make that clear in the OP Race Specifics. No touching cones, regardless of which ones they are. What about the knocking over of cones, as long as you still have two wheels on the track. I'm talking mainly the cone at the last right hander before the quick left then right onto to straight to the finish line. Also, in the Seasonal here, people were going way wide, outside of the cones, to get a running start down the straight...I take it that's not allowed here? It shouldn't be anyway in my opinion, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing out on any advantages,

- Cones are not to be touched.
- The inside of the white line is the track boundary, as detailed below.
- Breaking boundary rules on the final corner of the lap prior to your best lap is strictly forbidden. We will make cursory checks of Start/Finish line speed on all replays, and will disqualify outliers.
Nope. The only time I've ever done a seasonal at Willow Springs was that 500pp(?) one, and I just did 1 lap to get gold for the cash. In fact, the only seasonals I've ever tired hard at are:What about the knocking over of cones, as long as you still have two wheels on the track. @Mini Stiggy I thought you were among us that were complaining that we were sick of this track due to all the Seasonal events that PD keeps having here plus all the times its used in career mode. I could have sworn you ran the Seasonal events with us here.
I presume those of us who do the checks will have the range of acceptable start-line speeds given to us sometime around closing time Monday.I tried to make that clear in the OP Race Specifics. No touching cones, regardless of which ones they are.

Rocket at Suzuka
Lotus F1 at Spa
GT500 at Laguna
FGT at Silverstone
I think in missing one or two, but they for sure weren't at Willow Springs
That's only down 3 places on the lb as it stands, you can afford it.Shaved another tenth from my lap time but it's with 36.884 T2.
