Had a go this morning got 25.5xx and 54.6xx, then realised I'd left ABS on.. :banghead:
After chasing my ghost car for a lap, came to a strange realisation when I got..

25.317
54.367

0 ABS
5/6 BB

Also gained .9 at line, so I'm now quicker without ABS than with it :)...

Enjoying the sounds of the car.
Yeah its got to be one of the best sounding cars in GT6 at this point. Nice splits too, Bart. 👍

New ones for me, in a desperate attempt to get more sessions in this week.... I can feel myself become detached from the 'feel' after two weeks of no proper running.

Ran wide in turn 2 so got back on the power too late... not a bad sector 2 and not bad 3rd sector either (for me at least) Not much consistency generally but I love this car so much I don't care. Its a blast. :mischievous:

Thanks, Chris. You're doing not so bad yourself ;) 👍 Yeah, the sounds are good. I really like the roar at 5000 rpm. Starts to sound more and more potent building to top revs.

New splits. Quite happy with T1, had a little moment in sector 2. Sector 3 was nice too.

Coming into the end of sector 2 last straight, there is a bump that seems to cause the car to become unsettled. I either go off track or spin and lose time. If I lift slightly the car is stable. Is it possible to take that little hump without lifting?

It is possible to go without lifting. You just need to make sure you are towards the left of the track before entry, and then use smooth steering inputs to power through. I get it right 8/10 tries, when I make it there at least.

Also, I ruined many low 24.6s and 52.7s today. :grumpy: No improvement so far but I'll try to get another session in tonight.

Sacrifice some speed at the exit of the left-hander before, then setting the car up for a straighter line over the bump. You should be able to predict when the car will go over the bump, so you can straighten the wheel for a fraction of a second while going over the bump. This really helps a lot and will prevent the car from stepping out. If it slides there, you will lose speed for a long part of the lap, so it is important to focus on preventing this.

I might have to submit this lap as I don't know if I'll have time to put more practice in. I can see from the replay where I'm losing time but I'm slightly of of my comfort zone with this combo. Just realised I forgot to play with brake balance too :ouch:

Well, I learned a couple of very interesting things reading this thread, about how to make mileage in arcade mode stick and how to convert your ghost to a line! One thing I found out all by myself last night, though, (and I'll bet most of you already knew this) is that if you change the ABS setting using the RA menu, it resets as soon as you restart a new run. Had to use the settings menu to make it stick.

Ran 20 laps of this after completing some seasonals.... yea I'm running div 4 times  that little uphill left / right handed thing destroys me at the first bit of t2 :/

Car sounds epic, enjoying the combo, although I hate the sand. Been exploring quite a bit as well !!
Deleted best lap by mistake, still if I can do it once.......

Quick check to make sure I'm in the correct thread to post times.

I got my new Fanatec GT3RS wheel with CSR Elite pedals today. :) I'm really liking the feel of my new setup, the pedals are simply awesome. 👍

I had a quick run today to try out my new kit and found a small improvement so far.

Traction hasn't been my problem, its the vacuum that sucks you off into the sand when you drop 1mm of one wheel, off track. Now that I have gone back to being retired, I should be able to put some more time in though...so I'm hoping for a little better than I've been doing.
