Ok, just had 25.xxx on t1...
My problem not so much the crazy right-hander just before T1 as the very first left-hander. I cannot decided at what speed and in what gear. Too fast and the car slides into the sand. Too slow and I don't get enough speed to initiate the right-hander nicely...
Any suggestions?

Edit: I know it sounds crazy but the speed from left to right is actually important to find the line in the right-hander.

You mean the first left after the start/finish line..? I brake before it & go around it.. at 80+ accelerating all the way in 4th gear .. till the next breaking point..

Yes. Thank you. Haven't tried 4th gear :D đź‘Ť

Don't seem able to hit my pb at the line.
Have gone below on T1 but T2 just wont improve :( and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I keep hitting the same seconds at the line and am down to chasing tenths and hundreths on the lap....
Very frustrating.

See you later then !!

Finally managed to improve my S2 split for the first time in 2 days, although improved my overall lap time 4 times yesterday so can't complain. Every time I manage a good S1 time, I mess up S2 or vice versa...my current best is 4 tenths slower than my pb's for each sector combined, 2 tenths in each sector...at least I'm consistent lol:

S1: 25.519
S2: 54.736

This track is so much fun and the car works great for the effort. I owned a 73 Camaro and this car handles remarkably similar in the way it drops in hot and the allowes the tail to step out as it loads it, and starts to redirect. That seems to be the trick to arcing through the turns. If you drop off the track late in the turn then just open up the rear end more on turn entry and give it time to bite deeper. the third sector is what I look forward to every lap. The way the car just flys the never ending corner is a total hoot, and cleaning out the last turn ....... Priceless :)

Finally an improvement on the lap!

25.833
56.800

Now back to beat that T2 to a pulp.
At least I know where that track needs a serious shave. :D

@Nemo_Niente: You can turn in a lap on the same second ad nauseam? I envy you, just what I'd need for tonight's race.

Just be cool and keep driving, you'll get there. đź‘Ť

If nothing else I am consistent once I have found 'my' line. Ican literally run 10 laps on the same second on the line. The problem is that I cannot do the same with tenths and hundreths.

Such an addicting combo this one, having a bad day in terms of laptimes but I'm still having a blast. Never been a huge fan of american musclecars (other than looks-wise), but the Pozzi feels like a really nice car. It also sounds fantastic. đź‘Ť

Now I'm feeling a slight pressure creeping in, as I have to leave town for the weekend, thus having only until tomorrow to get a decent lap in. Though my current splits on the board probably aren't that bad, I'm still feeling that I'll drop down quite a bit unless I improve, as more people start to get comfortable with the combo. Also the number of participants is still quite far away from what it's been on the past couple weeks.

Also, @Nemo Niente , if you are having problems with the first corner, I'd suggest you watch Vagabonds T1 vid (a couple times maybe), as a similar approach to his feels to be the fastest way to go through the 1st lefthander (I've tried different ones).

Anyways, back to Willow!

Thanks đź‘Ť Yeah I watched it. And then @Andy 0 told me he does it in 4th gear. That works for me when I remember to brake :D

Are you sure you're running the right specs there? Splits like this are a bit of a blip given your qualifying placement and result from last week... and this combo is not an easy one.
i have checked and double checked my specs and they are fine, i think the blip is because i didn't put 100% into my qual

Guys...
I have a problem. The two corners (left, right) right after T1... How the frack do I take them? I watched Jack Olsen's vids, but the markers he talks about are not there in the game :( and the driving line is no help.

About to sit and try this for the first and maybe only night. Hmmm time trials or three nights in Florence Italy? At least I'll be back in time to submit!

Everyone has their personal preference, of course, but for me it feels like using 3rd is the fastest way, because you can fully slam on the throttle on the exit as the car doesn't really oversteer on high rpm. On 4th gear I kinda have to "hold back" a bit and apply the throttle more carefully, which usually results in a slower exit from the corner.

First actual lap, using the ds3

Let's see how much this changes by

Ten laps with the pad done! Using TC tho

Few laps with the wheel, lots of crashing, I'm terrible at this track

Well, I learned a couple of very interesting things reading this thread, about how to make mileage in arcade mode stick and how to convert your ghost to a line! One thing I found out all by myself last night, though, (and I'll bet most of you already knew this) is that if you change the ABS setting using the RA menu, it resets as soon as you restart a new run. Had to use the settings menu to make it stick.

Any way to make TCS setting stick? At the start of every session (before actually loading the track) I go to settings and move TCS to 0, only to notice it's back at 1 the next time I play.

That is a great combo. Problem is i need to learn the track limits. The car is great but it makes it hard to find those limits. Have had a about a million more restarts then i ever had in my GT career  Be cause of those restarts i'm not doing enough T3's and that is what i have to work on. Will probably not get a good enough T3, be cause i suck at fast corner. But enjoying this one so much :)
