Ran this a little bit Saturday night and I loved it. Been fighting a cold for the past couple of days and hopefully will get some time to run it before Monday. Never was good at FF cars though so I'm not expecting much.

I ended up with Vagabonds tune working the best for me. Doodlemonoply's tune felt faster but was too unpredictable for me. More time out there just have to figure this track out. Here's my first splits.

@nursemorph - I liked that tune 👍 so much so that I managed another .1 at the line and a better T1  - my T2 however... :yuck:

Thank you, amazing wondertuner

Hey, @mickyevs ... you are supposed to be BEHIND me - you are upsetting the order of things, you Hooligan :mischievous: :P 👍

I know. Haven't played for 2 days expecting you to go flashing by, but nothing. In the seat now so "eat my shorts"

Improved my best time by 0.1 at the line still more to find as lost abit in run to the line

T1 20.979
T2 35.961

Improved again on last 5 lap run

T1 20.879
T2 35.959

Got 0.050 gain at the line don't think il find much more as I'm on the edge as it is.

Still haven't had live timing work properly for me. Guess I won't be running this week.

From the OP:

  • Live timing monitor does not work properly, so we have to use a small trick to view splits.
  • While viewing your Replay, pause the lap by hitting start, before the end of the first sector.
  • While keeping the replay paused, advance the replay, using the forward arrow on the replay HUD. This will advance the replay to the end of the first sector. That's your T1 split, write it down.
  • Advance the replay again. That will show the lap to date time on the screen, this is your first and second sector time, added together.

In the replay you need to make sure you show time and lap info or all before doing this.

Had a quick go, and somehow managed to put together 3 decent sectors . I'm worn out from today though and will now be skipping the WRS race tonight...

Using Andrew's Mad Max tune this car is actually fun to drive, thanks dude for daring to go there. :dopey:
Really an enjoyable little combo now. 👍

For giggles, this is my set-up:

90/90 Ride Height
4.75/5.67 Springs
3/3 Bump
3/3 Rebound
7/1 ARB
0.0/0.0 Camber
0.00/0.00 Toe

0/10 Brake Balance (ABS @ 1)

10/40/20 LSD

Traction Control @ 0
Line @ Off
I couldn't use the ghost here (I use the brown line most times) as I found it hard to get all of T2 right with it on.

I wonder if you set bb to 0/5 and abs to 0 if it'd be like having a handbrake.. then turning abs to 1 on the corners you don't need it. Someone test it.

And I found another tenth on the very next lap.

20.766
35.783

Here's my setup so far. It looks silly, but it works! :dopey:

130/60
4.17/15.38
1/10
1/10
7/1
0.0/0.0
-0.50/-0.80
1/9

5/60/5

Hmmm okay literally 6 laps with your tune and I utterly demolish my best time at every sector.

Had a lap almost 3 tenths faster but grip was set wrong. :banghead:

Just started doing the qualifier .. you miss the renault lol nice one mate.

It's the comfort mediums on this, the Renault is more stable, so only half joking (dear lord, the flashbacks! :scared:). This is a fun little challenge though, seeing if I can get a decent time. Road tyres aren't my forte.
