I'm using Vagabond's tune with 1 exception, toe on both front and rear set all the way left. Seems to work for me!
Shaved a little more again!

Another strange run! T2 is over the last try, but finish was faster!

It's the comfort mediums on this, the Renault is more stable, so only half joking (dear lord, the flashbacks! :scared:). This is a fun little challenge though, seeing if I can get a decent time. Road tyres aren't my forte.

Hopefully you're not running this with comfort mediums on, the OP states it's comfort softs (rear and front).

A little heads-up, just in case. ;)

Today I've tried my tune, my revised tune, doodle's tune and Vagabond's tune and I can't match my times from yesterday.

Now I am consistently getting 21.xxx T1s and 37.xxx T2s but can't get a better lap... :(

I'm not really a car tuner.. but this set up works for me.. I find plenty of grip.. and I can get the nose to go where I want.. with careful driving.. the under-steer.. is minimal.. it seems to suit my style of driving.. and has given my fastest laps.. to date.. if you want to try something different.. have a go with these settings.. may take a few laps.. to understand the way it handles..

I hope I got confused while running as opposed to typing, I couldn't go faster than 21.2 in the first sector. It could be either way, I'd been up all night when I made the post and when I tried setting times.

Edit: damn, made the mistake while typing. Maybe I need to do more than fifteen minutes of running...?

Thanks Andy...I'll give it a look. I had another run yesterday evening with slightly revised settings from my original tune and managed a .211 first sector which was encouraging (only to throw it away in the next corner 🤬) and slightly improved my S2 time on another lap. I know where I am losing the time (every corner lol), it's just getting that missing time....I still have no clue how I managed the .211 S1 as I had only done a .450 in that session!

You will ! Rest for today and take it down tomorrow - always works for me 👍 ;)

Suspect the tunes will make me few differences; splits of first session, no tuning just the parts:

21.410
37.177

This is my normal approach too 👍, but with this combo it takes my brain about 15 minutes of driving to adjust to the amount of terminal understeer the car has! Then I give up and drive "slow" enough to get good splits

Yes, and sometimes it happens without explanation. But also because you are more relaxed and familiar with the track.

T2 split is 0.234 faster, but a stupid mistake in the final sector leads to only a 0.050 improvement at the finish line.

Yes. Thank you both for the support and encouragement 👍

Unfortunately, no. Maybe in a future update. ;)

Good to know, seems my yesterday splits were illegal. I had forgotten to change the oil in the car as well so I'll try to improve soon! Does the car still need to be braken in?

Even though i dislike (to say diplomatic  ) FF cars. I enjoy this combo. Brand Hatch in the name of the track helps a lot :D

Tried Chris and Andrew tunes. Think Andrews is the fastest for an overall good time, if you handle it like it should be and can execute every corner very precise specially the last corner. Ones you manage it, you will benefit form it but it will come with a lot of frustrated laps.

Chris has an very stable tune. Although stable tunes aren't the fastest basically, this one has best of both worlds.

Saw .7's in T1. Really need to find some time and consistency T2.
