@iaino
One day, I wish, I'll drive like you, sir! I have access to LB!
At this moment I'm looking for a steering wheel, I believe it will make me less miserable.

I started out on those times, so you have nothing to be miserable about.

See look:
First splits

21.136
36.536
Second splits

21.120
36.287

And you're currently faster than 10 Div 2 drivers as well! 👍

Plus you beat me in Week 3 in the BMW . . .

Faster - I went faster oooh!

20.877
36.044

But I messed up the last sector as is just par for the course and only got .061 at the line. At least I know what I can do now though - never thought I'd see a .8 first sector that made me happy the first time I saw, then when I saw it again straight after with the .0xx second sector I knew I had to get it home in front of my ghost, so maybe I shall be able to string it together with a great last sector for my ultimate lap. But maybe always seems to get harder to find.

Finally submitted my qualifier. Can't wait to get started. I expect to land somewhere in D3. Last time I did WRS was in back in GT4.

20.888
35.972

Lost about a tenth on the final turn :ill:

Submitted and accepted. I don't think I will be able to get this one any better. Found .2 at the line so I'm pleased.

Another quick session, totally obliterated every sector time again :D

20.800
35.900 (is it me or is the sector time in the replay off a little? Never had back to back .x00 splits before)

With Andrew's settings this combo is sublime, thanks both @Vagabond and @doodlemonoply.

What are the odds of getting the same T2 time over and over and over again?

Think I need a line revision here to get it down to the late 35's. Any tips?

I've worked out how much time I have left on track based on my best splits in all sectors - it's only about 1-1.5 tenths. Not sure if that's good or not, but I'm not too worried now about my final sector on the LB lap.

I don't know why I never tried to work this out before, in fact, because it gives me a greater perspective on how I'm doing, and what my best is. It doesn't make it seem more achievable, but I guess I'll be lucky to find half a tenth by the end of the week, but even that would be past my goal that I set before I worked out my best sector times.

How you do you do that?
I never know what is a reasonable tim to expect of me. Much less how much time is left on a track for me.

I use a calculator. Take my best lap time and minus the two sectors to work out my best last sector and compare them all over a session. Then add my best sectors based on my posted splits over the week to work out my best possible time. My splits are projected to be about 35.9xx potentially, though I don't know if I shall see that.

As for what is expected of me, well I never know that. But I seem to be doing okay this week judging by my position on the LB in amongst some D2 Gold drivers and faster than a D1 driver.

Ok, thank you 👍

Time to give everyone a little cautionary tale of excitement followed by profound disappointment, embarrassment and anger:

Ran 20 laps using @Andy 0 tune yesterday afternoon and found it to be highly successful and started enjoying driving the car again. However, by the end of the session, i had learned the following things:

- Remembering to turn SRF off after a seasonal would be good;
- SRF really does make you 2 seconds a lap quicker;
- SRF makes this car 100 times better to drive and eliminates the understeer;
- I really should have twigged when I was running 20.6 S1's and 35.5 S2 splits!! But I was having way too much fun with it to get distracted by little things like that.

So, anyway, once I had resest the lap leaderboard to wipe out my assisted laps, I ran 2 laps minus SRF and, yes, the car still was less fun to drive than watching paint dry!!

After eating, I tweaked Andy's tune slightly and finally saw some improvement. Not only did I manage to get under .3 for S1 but managed a .044 so all hope is not lost. Also improved for the S2 split and gained 3 tenths over the full lap. My best S1 and S2 combined gives me a 36.1 so am a way off that in one lap but the potential is there and am confident I can go quicker with further tweaks. Big thanks to @Andy 0 for his tune 👍
