Well I think I see the addiction with TT's now.

I just saw a 20.778 T1 - it was magical - then subsequently got a dirty 35.7xx T2. But after that I couldn't even get to a .8xx again, I kept trying though.

I think I'll call it a day now after that frustration for just .061 to then realise that I could potentially get another tenth over the lap if I were to get that magical 20.7 again.

Ohh this TT is great! It's intoxicating and I really don't like FF's!

And now I am off to give your Ollie's tune a good real try. 👍

I don't like FFs either, is like driving a tractor... I'd gladly take that boisterous and untameable Lotus any day...

Improved times courtesy of Andy O

T1: 21.442
T2: 37.008

Glad you made it work for you..

After eating, I tweaked Andy's tune slightly and finally saw some improvement. Not only did I manage to get under .3 for S1 but managed a .044 so all hope is not lost. Also improved for the S2 split and gained 3 tenths over the full lap. My best S1 and S2 combined gives me a 36.1 so am a way off that in one lap but the potential is there and am confident I can go quicker with further tweaks. Big thanks to @Andy 0 for his tune 👍

S1: 21.166
S2: 36.516

Yeah.. I'm still giving it a few tweaks.. and get regular S1.. .1xx times.. but have still not reached my target for the lap.. I'm still .05x off.. and can't hook up a clean faster lap.. :)

Great that you made some progress with my tune..

Yeah this tune helped - I still can't find consistency in line in the first corner S1. I figured out that the driving line is only good for braking points (old news) so either I memorize the braking points or I reprogram my brain to make a sharper and earlier turn in and hug the rumble in that first corner... I also need to brake earlier and less in the first corner of S2 (overbraking is my vice on any track in any car).

I break by the the second marker board.. and release the breaks going over the line painted across the track and roll into the corner.. get my line and accelerate up the hill..

For the first corner of S2.. I break at the start of the rumble strip on the right.. just before the corner the try and hit the apex as I accelerate.. trying not to let the whole car creep up over the rumble strips.. on the exit curb..

There is one braking point too many in S2. With Ollie's tune there is no need for 4th gear in S2-S3...
Thank you Ollie @Andy 0 - I have done my driving for today - seems I can only find one best lap a day - but I will give your tune Real run tomorrow. 👍 :D

I must exit the first corner in S2.. faster than you.. as I hit the limiter in third gear.. before the next breaking point.. so have to change into forth.. or loose time.. :)

I'm using doodle's tune. I can't tune FF's to save my life.

Yeah, the Lotus was great - well it got me my first negative handicap with my own tune so of course I'm going to say that.

Yeah I saw my mistake - it's Ollie's tune I am using... @Andy 0, sorry about the mix-up :embarrassed:

You brake earlier than I do, I think. The line where you release is where I shift down into 3rd. So yes I'll try it your way.

Ahh. you break later than I do. What a surprise

Probably, I am as said an overbraking driver, I could probably get through that corner faster than I do at the moment by simply not decelerate so much (52-44 mph) :D  If I forget myself I have exited so that I am into 3rd just after the exit... I have tried going into 4th before T2, but cannot shift down fast enough to take that last corner... I guess it's all about practice :P

It is definitely a tune with quite a bit pf potential. The only tweak I have done so far is give it -0.30 of front TOE which helps it turn in better. I will have another go with it later and see what happens....for me, at the moment, I see no reason why it can't go below 21 for S1 and below 36 for the S2 split, getting it there is a different matter however lol. Either way it gave me a 3 tenths improvement on my best lap so far which I was very happy with

Excellent splits buddy.

I don't how I am gonna make this sorry excuse for a car go any faster...
No improvement. Still stuck doing 21.7xx and 37.5xx and slower at the line than my previous posted splits...
Yes it is faster in general for me than @nursemorph's, but I just cannot utilize that speed... :banghead:

With an FF car travelling at over 110 MPH.. I like to break in a straightest line as is possible.. esp on the fast turn 1.. getting back on the accelerate earlier.. which helps pulls you through the corner..

I break later like you in an FR car..

yeah.. a big surprise..

keep on trying.. be slow to accelerate out of the slow corners.. to avoid bad under-steer..

I haven't messed with that yet. Still on 900. What are you using for this combo?

I was at 750, but actually when I put it up to 900 'just for kicks' (along with Andrew's tune) is when I really started to trim time. I think that the 750 setting just made the car just slide forward rather than help turn-in, but don't quote me on that.

Had another run this afternoon with further adjustments to @Andy 0 tune and found a bit more time:

S1: 21.203
S2: 36.370

Have had numerous .0xx S1's but can't get the fast time through S2 to match it....did manage a .189 S2 split but was about a millimetre dirty on the first corner of S2 and haven't been able to replicate it yet. Have also managed to gain 2 1/2 tenths at the line today so am happy.

I am a little late to the party, where is Vagabonds tune? Please!

I have a whole afternoon of TT'ing coming up!!!!!!

Yes your way is easier, as it allows me to hit the throttle almost immediately as I release the brake 👍
Still have to find those faster times.... But it feels closer than before.

Switched to @doodlemonoply's tune, and managed a 35.9xx split 2 on just the second lap. T2 is now so much easier, thanks Andrew 👍

20.854
35.888

Struggling in T3 though, lost over a tenth on this lap to go only 0.04 faster at the line. To be fair though, my previous T3 was perfect, at least from my perspective.

Told ya

DTM
Even though i dislike (to say diplomatic  ) FF cars. I enjoy this combo. Brand Hatch in the name of the track helps a lot :D

Tried Chris and Andrew tunes. Think Andrews is the fastest for an overall good time, if you handle it like it should be and can execute every corner very precise specially the last corner. Ones you manage it, you will benefit form it but it will come with a lot of frustrated laps.

Chris has an very stable tune. Although stable tunes aren't the fastest basically, this one has best of both worlds.

Saw .7's in T1. Really need to find some time and consistency T2.

And here is Chris his tune. For Al
