Ran 10 laps and managed to beat previous dirty PB lap.

Switched to BB 3/10 and ran 20 laps.

Ran PB T2 & T3 sectors

27.973
1'14.756

More time to gain, took a few corners too neat & a few corners too scruffy.

Rather stupidly, I put SRF on yesterday so I could mess around on another track.....

My first 5 laps today felt amazing, felt like I could do anything. Knocked over a second off my PB. The sudden dawning realisation as you creep towards the menus to check, and my heart sank :(

A couple of Glenlivets later, and back in the saddle. Saw several 29.9xx and saw a 71.xxx once! On the proper settings. Wrecked them all by congratulating myself into the nearest barrier! Anyway, getting a handle on the first sector, and can nail the chicane 50% of the time.

God I hate the corners before and after the Tunnel :banghead: , any advice gents?
Don't hit the wall... :D

Seriously though, before I think is a case of slow down sooner than you think as round it out as much as you can. The chicane is still a crapshoot for me. I can never hit the same braking point twice, which is probably the key as well as hanging out The Jewels and getting very personal with the Armco on turn-in. :scared:

For the chicane there's a bush/tree above the Armco on the right that's darker green than the rest that follow it. I brake just after that leaves the screen. Another reference point (but not as easy to see) is the point in the Armco on the right where it stops being a curve and becomes straight. I'm trying my hardest to leave the driving line off for this one. :)

Or I am doing something wrong or this is just not my combo.

I'm 2 sec. slower then the average division 2 drivers in T2

My T1 and T2 times are not improving but I managed to get a full sec off at the line.

I have a stock car and only put other tyers and a oil change on it.

Does somebody got tips?

You have to be REALLY brave, use all the available cornering grip, and come within millimeters of some of the walls. Lots of corners you can get back on the gas earlier than you think is safe, as long as you don't stomp the gas too hard.

For corners like turn 1 and the turn before the tunnel, you want to get the best exits possible because those are where the longest straights are.

Now I'm looking to get into the 4's at t2. Also, I had a great t3 going until the hairpin, then all the walls started closing in around me and I ended up with an average final sector. I did gain .190 at the line though.

Good advice. Personally, I brake at the point where the Armco on the left becomes advertising boards. The only place that the driving line is particularly helpful to me is braking in the swimming pool complex....I just use it as a reminder to brake!

After seeing Nursemorphs comment about using doodlemonply BB.. 3/10 I though I'd give it a try.. an saw an immediate improvement.. over 1.xxx at the line

Now I'm going like a..

That moment when you realize you've lost a place on the split board by 0.003...

Only just realised that it was me! Sorry. Could have been worse, I stupidly ran last week's TT straight after submitting on Monday. Knocked 0.2 seconds off. Would have moved me a little higher and not been quite as embarrassing.

Note to self, don't look to see where that would have put you!

PB sectors show at least 0.3 to get in the first 2 splits. Although, my best S1 split is over a quarter of a second better than my leaderboard time.
