i entered the week 7 WRS and i've send a "compressed-replay+time" yesterday, but why im still not on the leaderboards?:confused::confused:

You'll get on the leaderboard by posting your split times in this thread. ;)

Viewing your T1 & T2 Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay' (See pic below)
  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Gallery' option.
  • Live timing monitor does not work properly, so we have to use a small trick to view splits.
  • While viewing your Replay, pause the lap by hitting start, before the end of the first sector.
  • While keeping the replay paused, advance the replay, using the forward arrow on the replay HUD. This will advance the replay to the end of the first sector. That's your T1 split, write it down.
  • Advance the replay again. That will show the lap to date time on the screen, this is your first and second sector time, added together.
  • To post your T1 & T2 Splits, simply post the lap to date times that are shown in the middle of the screen. Do not try to calculate the actual T2 split time, the Fetchbot will do that for you.

I did exactly what the description said, i saved my "fastest lap" and compressed it, ive send this to the fetchbot with this subtitle (incl. my time): "GTP_WRS Week 7 Submission". But nothing is happening, ive refreshed the leaderboards every 20minutes, but im still not on it. How is this possible?

Because you need to post sector times.

It's not necessary to submit a replay every time you do a new fastest lap.
Just watch the replay, write down the split times as described below and then post these times in this thread. That way your splits will show up on the leaderboard.
At the end of the week when you're happy with your time, submit that replay. If you then should run again and beat it, you can always submit your new lap and it will replace the previous one.

I see the leaderboard is still not updating....have we over-worked Fetchy so much that he's had a nervous breakdown? Or maybe he's gone on strike demanding better pay and conditions?

Ok guys, our Captain @nursemorph and @Andy 0 , I have the same problem (?) you mentioned - I use AT 70% of the time, mainly because of the fun. This was a game to me until I joined GTP WRS - now I need more  , like you do (youre already fast) and it's time to bother with the stick and start kicking some *sses 👍
The other problem I have is that if I use my birth year in my name it would become Serialf56,

For the time being, and because of above my splits are:

28.484
1'15.616

Yep.. :ouch:

But how? Some write for example this?

"11.370"
"57.000"

but what does these numbers mean? That's the only thing i struggle with, can u help me with it?

The numbers are the sector times.. if you save the best lap.. then watch the replay.. you can get the sector times..

this is how to achieve this.. Once you have the sector times.. post then in this thread..

  • While viewing your Replay, pause the lap by hitting start, before the end of the first sector.
  • While keeping the replay paused, advance the replay, using the forward arrow on the replay HUD. This will advance the replay to the end of the first sector. That's your T1 split, write it down.

"11.370" This is the first sector time.
"57.000" This is the first sector and second sector time combined.

Look through the thread for examples of how to type your splits for this combo - you could do the second split either 1'xx.xxx or 72.xxx.

As described in the OP and posted by @Xelyno it tells you how to check your replay to see your splits that can then be posted in this thread.

got it! :D thanks man! :D

Slowly improving, had a couple of saves that had to delete after carefully reviewing the replay and also a good lap ruined because the smoke entered my eye

27.831
74.964

So I'm running my laps and the fastest one in the session is clearly dirty, but I'm happy with the next fastest. Question is, can I save the best lap replay but somehow wipe the dirty one off? Or do I have to exit the track and start over?

Yes, you should exit, begin again and once you have a good lap, save best lap replay, and so on 👍

See correction to this by @EDK ; thanks, I didnt knew that

Because after you run some number of miles/km's, the oil degrades. I was down to 171HP and changing the oil got me back up to 174HP as the OP states.
I didn't know that changing oil again puts HP up again. Now I've got a great excuse for my poor laps. All joking apart that may explain why towards the end of the week I can never catch my ghost. When I get a chance I'm going to change the oil in the Focus and try the lap again.

One of the recent updates allows you to "Delete Ghost Replay" from the session.

I think it's at the very far right, and is quite useful in these circumstances. You can just do that, and then should be able to save a slower fast lap replay.

I figured I was screwed... sadly my ghost is whooping me now.

All I have is a remove ghost replay button and a clear all ranking data.

Another 20 lap session earlier using @doodlemonoply B/B of 3/10 and, after a few laps to get acclimatised, I can that it suits the car better. Have set new PB's in S1 and S3 but for some reason cannot do likewise in S2 despite it feeling faster...not sure what's going on with it. Finally got below 27.5 for the first sector after 2 days of trying, went under 13 for the S2 split twice and improved my overall lap time by half a second so a very productive session:

S1: 27.313
S2: 1:12.746
