@Nemo Niente: The key to this (and every TT in my opinion) is to know how you need to attack every corner on the track. Start by getting some conservative markers for braking and accelerating. Once you have them all memorised you can slowly adjust a corner or two per lap to see if there is anything more you can get out of it. Even if you ruin a lap, don't restart, complete the lap and try new things on the remaining corners or just practice them. The problem with 8 hours straight (apart from the obvious #getsomefreshair ;)) is that you're almost guaranteed to have ingrained poor habits. Jump on YouTube and watch some fast laps of Monaco in similar cars and get an idea for where you're different and then I suggest only doing 30m or 1hr sessions, any more than that and it's easy to start going backwards (maybe even literally :sly:)
Thank you 👍. My biggest problem with Monaco is driving clean. I really dont care about times as long as I have a good absolutely clean lap. My current best is clean, maybe, I can't say,,, :(.

I don't like to whine, but this is by far the hardest TT so far, for me. I drive an entire lap, and then those spindly tires or the back end of the car just have to REACH out and touch something on exit out of the last corner... I don't find the line hard to find or follow, the braking points are logical even the hairpin is manageable once a general speed through and out has been decided on. The chicane is a breeze. The tightness of the entire course is cause for a general melt-down.

But I will gratefully follow your advice. 👍

Sorry. I will ask again: What are the requirements for Handicapped Results?

You need to submit a time/replay at the end of the week. That's the only requirement.

As for negative and positive handicapped results well that's a different question entirely.

Once you have submitted a replay and the official results have been posted you will have a handicapped result based on how well you did 👍

OK. So @MisterWeary convinced me to pick myself up off the tarmac and go another lap 👍

Which resulted in those splits and lap time a little closer to the one I did at 90% (:boggled:) power yesterday

It's so squeaky clean I could have asked my mother-in-law to sit on the bonnet in her Sunday best with a glass of champagne all through the race. :D

EDIT: I think one of my problems with this track is that it is DECEPTIVELY LOGICAL - there is a clear and obvious line and the braking points are all in the places they should be; and that easily leads to a bit careless driving, at least for me. I need to think ahead, literally several turns as I drive because the track so tight and fast at the same time. Well, that's what I think anyway.

Matt yellow is hideous. I prefer Vagablonde or Anblue. Maybe Grayvitron, which also sounds like gravy train if you say it fast enough

So after I have dinner last night, I found out how to be .4 slower :ouch:

Did some work. No idea where you guys are getting the seconds from.... Well I do, I just can't pull it off.

I think I might be done. Clean laps driving on the limit are hard.

Love the track love the car but for some reason I'm really lacking motivation this week to put in the full effort it deserves.

Disregard this. Forgot to change the GripReduction setting to Real. :grumpy:

Enjoying this one. Taking a while to adapt to using my new setup, but running 15-20 laps in a stint, then putting all my times into a spreadsheet is helping massively. I can easily see my potential, from all my sectors, and can see .6 left to get over the lap.
Can still see time in the first two sectors though, so hopefully I can improve a bit more. No idea how the top guys can get a 1'10! No wonder they call you aliens!

Just did my first session. I am having problems with keeping of the walls, as I can't see the with of this car when using bonnet view. I eventually managed to get some nice laps. The car was much easier to handle than I expected, it has a tendency to understeer but mostly it is easy to drive and I learned it quickly.

Having said that, I have no idea how almost half of the field manages to get 2s ahead on the second split. Of course there is a little time to gain here and there, but some have done it almost 4s quicker, which is absolutely amazing.
