/edit: ah, because they're the same splits as before, it won't re-import the same splits, it should work if you post 'new' splits.
 
whew that f40 is one bad boy on the professional physics LOL i was sliding through a few early but i managed to get a lap with new splits now (i see now that i shouldn't have been as fast as i was LOL) i fear it might be a bit dirty though after degner.... so i'll keep trying to get a new one thats fully clean and we'll see where i rack up!

Been itching all week to get going here, today internet is back up and running and now this as first news :lol:
Anyways: thanks for the heads-up, knowing this I'll switch the PS on first thing when I get home and then I should be doing some laps later :)

Atleast you have the Datsan to keep you entertained while waiting for the internet cap to pass. Looks like I have joined at the right time all the boys are back, and new competion. Sweet. I'm never fast anyway but it's still fun.

Hopefully I'll see you guys on the track this weekend for some close racing.

I did a few free-runs for the red mist event before this WRS came up and I got capped, can't post the lap time here for obvious reasons, but that it was rather sad I can say LOL. I'll have to work hard to achieve your times, rest assured.

Ok, managed to get a little free time today and ran these for my 1st splits :)

I'm finding it ridiculously hard to improve on my splits. :indiff: Each time I think I've set a good T1 it ends up to be a 54.2 or 54.3. And I still haven't broke the 54 barrier. :ouch::ouch:

At least I'm using my bucket and spade less.

I've actually had quite a few sessions at this over the past few days, but haven't found enough consistency to put in a lap that i am (reasonably) happy with.

I know what you mean Aderrrm, except I'm finding it hard to break the 54.2 barrier! :yuck: I can't wait to see the replays to see where the other half a second is. (I'm expecting to see a jet engine on the back of Ramon's F40)

Anyway, driving quickly or driving slow, this is an amazing car to drive, and the replays ain't too bad either. :drool:

Question regarding the tune, though: I read it as +.12 toe front and - 0.05 toe rear... is that supposed to be like that!? I thought it's usually the other way round... For me there's two possibilities: either I'm reading this wrong... OR I have found a reason why I always suck with my setups

Please help! :-)
 
Don't you just hate it when you post 'first splits, more to come' (or similar) on the first day, only to spend the rest of the week looking at the back end of your ghost?…or is it just me? :lol:
 
Just comparing my time with everyone else I'm quite happy with my slow time, I think I can take a second off it with some setup tweeks and a bit more practice..

I know what you think about the ghost thing, I tend to turn it off after a while and flick it on/off on the straight..

You know something good about that - you can see if your fast lap is clean as long as you keep up fairly close to it. :)

It can be that way, it may make his car an exercise in car control but it will probably turn quite well.

I know the feeling! Not only can I not catch my ghost from my 1st session, but as has been the standard the past few weeks, I remain behind your ghost on the leaderboard as well.
 
Funny car to drive, I find. Seems to need a very early turn in, or there is no turn in at all. I need to find a setup that suits me better.
I'm losing a good second a sector to most of you in my division. Flat 55's and flat 40's, for each sector.
I'm not much chop at this circuit at the best of times, but this car is far from a fav.
Being a supercar, youd expect super everything. The only super I find in this car is superdifficulty.

It looks to be close again this week. Although unlike other weeks, I appear to get worse every time I sit down for a go at it. :banghead:

I have to agree with you on that. I am starting to get frustrated, it seems I can't shave any real time off my attempts. While others are pulling 53's and 1'38's haha.

Small update.

T1 - 55.007
T2 - 1'39.806

I have tried different angles to attack each turn, but after a few days from my last update. I could only shave off .190 lol.
 
New splits:

T1: 53.601
T2: 1'37.712

Had a 53.558 T1 going earlier but messed up at Spoon.
I don't think I had a very good run through 130R on this lap, still not quite sure how to approach it.
