yes but freshseth has the other testcar in div2 but i dont believe he has finished a race with it. so i guess its up to jav to sort it out.

Unbelievable. Just unbelievable.

Kissing my championship goodbye right now. I knew that I had to have an utterly flawless season from here on out, and I did everything I had to, took pole with a 1:26.1, and was probably set to win, but the worst thing you could ever wish for happened. My internet disconnected. Luckily, I got back in and we set off again, but on that time out, during the pace lap, it weont away again, and signed me out.

Quickly signed back in, to see that the race was already underway, with Veloci, the man to beat in the championship, leading once again, with lucky chasing. This is the absolute worst thing ever. Looks like i'll have to wait until my 3rd season to win at Monaco. 2 poles at Monaco, zero victories, thanks to my internet deciding to be a beach whenever things start to go good for me. Championship comeback, failed.
 
Sorry for being such a pest Jav, I didnt know if there'd be a race or not!! There's no listed time on the OP, and the room wasnt open till 8 EST. Now I know that ya'll start late so it should be cool.

Also, wasnt aware I'm supposed to slow the field to 30 mph before starting, LOL. Kinda weird but I'll remember that. Hope I dont get a penalty, didnt know. I think I rolled it out at 70 mph across the line.

Wish we could get some more participants for Div 2. Pretty sparse.... we had 7 starters & 6 finishers. Be nice to have a full 16 Div 2. I wonder if a couple of my friends would be willing to sign up.
 
just wanted to say thanks to supra he could have really messed things up but great driving by you my friend i thought you was going to kill me there but you drove like your supposed to good job. also thanks posiloan you pulled me around but hopefully next time maybe not turn into me i thought it was over coming into the tunnel i went under you and i don't think you saw me cuz you turned in and i had to lock the brakes i hoped i didn't slide into you

Next week I may possibly race in the D2 event for fun, as I'll finally be done with my semester of college...

Are there CLK's available in D2?

Yeah....off the top of my head there was no Mercedes cars. You can have 2 of each. So no problem.
 
1:26 is a quick time. I'd be damn close to being lapped by the end! Tail end of the tail. :sly:

Would be nice to get another 3-4 in Div 2. 10 is enough, I dont like big fields anyways with the lag they bring. Its cool to just step one foot into the big bad FIA Omega series rather than go all the way and practice for it, thats too much work LOL. :sly:

lol PJ we both know in Time Trials you've got my number. Race pace I do ok lol. If memory serves, I have 4 starts in this series, 3 podiums and a W. Of course the win was officially taken away, but I refuse to vacate it hahaha.
 
Well its finally over. Overall it turned out better then I expected. I really expected to run 10th-11th. But due to others misfortunes I was able to come in 7th.

Over all despite being 2 seconds off the leaders Quali pace, I had fun racing Jepok, Jav, and Posi. Many laps of closely following them stepping out here and there to make them nervous and forcing into a mistake to get the pass. I also tried a Risky 1 stop strategy that didn't really work out. It was about even in the end, so no real advantage.. I guess the only advantage was I wasn't pushing in order to save tires which saved me going into the wall, lol.

Now can look forward to the rest of the season and try to claw my way back from the ground I lost in the championship today.
 
Yeah I'm glad its over too. My worst nightmare was realized twice. That was somebody in front of me turning into the chicane too early and crashing into the left side armco blocking the track. I got collected in that so i had to pit from 6th place i think. Dropped down to 11 i believe. Then just pushed on fresh tires. Once again lost my ability to count laps and wasn't sure when to pit again. Temporarily in second after my second pitstop. and temporarily in first after my 3rd pitstop. Matter of fact I just realized that I ran a 3 Stop race and is still can't count..(or spell)Had great scraps with Tao, Pipi, Tiss, Jav, Posi. Made decisive passes going into the hairpin two times today. One of them was so so but still pulled it off. The other was lesson learned on Pipi haha. Helped by the fact that I had significantly fresher tires. fast lap after my 3rd pitstop. Even so that only keeps my even in terms of points haul Veloci since he finished a place ahead of me. Not sure how I am ever going to get 5 points out of him. On to Fuji. Hoping to be good here.


Hey Jav could we come up with a plan for condensing the first few points. Atleast put the championship standings much higher up so its easier to scroll to?

You are not the only ones glad this race is over, what you guys saw was not me racing, what you guys saw was me trying to keep that thing away from the walls! I couldn't go down to 3rd gear without crazy wheel spin!! I had to short shift to 4th right away just to make it 15 laps in a set of tires! This thing is just ridiculous!! I need to get a different car soon!!

Thank you Veloci! The results should stand as there's no complaints from anyone ye and I really don't think there will be any. Only 1 thing, PJ got 1 point from this race so he should be at 23pts.
 
That's the one thing i wasnt sure about. If you considered starting as completing one lap, or beginning the pace lap. I'll make sure to change his points promptly

Thnks man I'm so glad that race is over maybe one of the hardest this season we will have to do and congrats on your win mate you did very well faultless drive.

Edit: are we using the GT configuration does anyone know what would be a good time around the curcuit?

That was me. Worst mistake I could of made. Got Damaged on every part of the car from it. :(

How did you manage to get back up to third? I had a pretty clean race outside that mistake and wasn't making any time up really.

haha yeah i couldnt believe it. I had 2 laps over your tires. Was little faster on the last few laps.


Dammit im pretty sure 3rd was mine if i didnt wreck. Never seen my wheel damage so much. The steering was pointed a full 180 degree to the left. In the pit with her asap:scared:

Yeah, in order to score points you need to finish at least 50% of the race, but he did get pole possition so he gets the point for it.
