Word form the broadcasters.

"We are terribly sorry to inform you, that our Broadcast System-PC has apparently suffered from a electric shortcircuit. At first it only looked like a Power Out, but it turns out that the crash has killed the main monitor. Unfortunately we can't..."

The message appears to be cut off. So in short, their main PC they use for the broadcasts suffered from an short circuit that also happened to take out the main monitor as well.
 
Ok, so tomorrow's race will be pushed back to next Sunday for Div1, Div2 will run as scheduled at La Sarthe 2005.
There's some changes/announcements coming up regarding car specs and race settings so so stay tuned.

Who's up for some casual touring car racing tomorrow night?

Today's race (Sunday Jan. 22, 2012) will start at the normal time. Hope to see all of Div.2.
I will be opening a room at 3:30pm PST(6:30 EST) for some practice. At 4:15 I will reset the room to get ready for TT's. Race starts at 5:00pm PST (8:00pm EST).

If we have a Pace Lap, it will be 70 mph till we get to the pit entrance, then down to 30. We will all try to line up befor the pole sitter gets to the Start/Finish line.

I'm in for some action. Live to try out the new Vantage. Maybe a completely stock spec race on sport softs. ;)

Maybe full tilt Audi R8 LMS? Racing Hard - Softs? This be awesome fast

I'll be there! Sarthe is one of my favorite tracks. I hope the connection issues aren't so prevalent this race. I just got my power back on at home after 3 days without it. Looking forward to the race.

Logically one would assume it would be the same, but then again we are talking about PD here so who knows?

Up to you! We can come up with a good compromise in Specs to suit everyone!
 
If everyone has them with no stage 3. We can do Max HP with out stage 3 engine.

The one I want to use has no Stage 3.


Also we can do mix bag. You can run Race Mediums. However you have to do two laps in Hards sometime during the race. Two full laps. Mules PURE RX7 series uses this tire rule. Works well there.

Might be ideal here.

AUDI R8 LMS Spec Race: 8:00 pm EST Q start

HP = 660 no stage 3 engine. All other mods

WT = 1300 KG

PP= 634 Full Aero

Track = La Sarthe

Race will consist of two tire compounds. Only required to run Race Hards for Two complete laps. Otherwise Medium tires can be used.

All normal race rules apply.

Will be rolling start

Standard GTPFIA Qualifying session prior to race

Srry I didn't make it to Div 2, I feel asleep and slept through the race time, then watched the 49rs/NY game. I've been up to much at night & not enough during the day. I would have hit it though if I wasnt sleepting. :(
 
That was fun. I couldn't take Eua Rogue flat out though. I don't really know how to tune the best, so I just went with camber at 2.0 1.5, and toe angle at .05 and .00! Turn in is fine, but it wanted to oversteer, so I tried to counteract that with those settings. I don't think it helped too much, but it felt more stable, except Eua Rogue. I would love to run the R8 LMS more. Be even better with medium tires and hard tires, make a little strategy, tire wear could be turned on with those settings IMO.

No big deal. I got hit as well, and drove 3 laps with a damaged car that race, then pit. Fortunately a lot of turns helps out when you have damage.

Oh no your not gettin off that easy, you and I are the only ones who make every race in div2 and your connection is better than mine your stuck hosting buddy.:)
