Just a suggestion for the pace lap, but what if we all lined up VERY gently, bumper to bumper then hit the start button so the computer controls the car, we could do this until the chicane where we could continue at roughly the same speed.
This could reduce the number of accidents on the pace lap...

The speed at which the AI drives at when paused is at approximately 15 miles per, significantly slower than whatever the speed limit is in this series (I think it's 50, 60 or 80 mph, though I think it was never disclosed). Plus, if the AI drives, you do not get the chance of warming up your tires before the green flag.

If everyone follows the correct procedure, then there should be no problems. Keep below the speed limit and keep about one to two car lengths behind the car you're in front of. I remember doing a formation lap for one of the practice sessions and there was no problem (except for a little confusion).

Your suggestion is valid, but I really don't see why we need the AI to drive for us.

That's not necesary, I'm pretty sure everyone here can manage a formation lap without crashing.
Besides everyone knows autopilot is crazy and will crash into anything on its predetermined path.

Where the reserve drivers meant to get that PM regarding driver's meating? If yes , i didnt get it.

Since there are so many reserve drivers , wouldn't it be possible to create a second division for each , GT1 and GT2 ?

that was about what I was getting last time. I think i pushed it to 15 though. but i lost a ton of speed doing that!

That lap was a bit of a banzai run! Had my fuel down half just over half, set a 1:50.1xx on the first flyer, then a 1:49.2 on the second...
Goes with out saying the tyres where spent after another half lap!

Aha, now I know why you're so fast. Even though half the time I nail the curb at Veedol, I can still manage my tyres for more laps than that.

If I burn tyres, I can shave off almost 2 seconds... I always practice with tyre management in mind...

ooo that time is old... I think with the GTR my best time was in the 53s a couple weeks ago, but as of today, I nailed a 1:52.028 in the Zed.
