Yeah, the Camaro is probably going to take victory tonight. Will try my best to prevent that from happening :sly:

I'll be turning on the PS3 in a few minutes, first I'll post the room number here when I get it up and running. (Another early start for practice, the timetable stays the same as usual.)

Room is up.

Dced from the lead again bloody brilliant im at the end of my teather to win the first 3 races then dc from the next 2 from a certain 1st or 2nd add to that its 2am starting time its starting to become really annoying now ill have lost my lead for sure and i tbh dont see the point in staying up for this i love driving the mini for once in competition but i can see clearly its a burden for you to equalize (the power decrease really did nothing wierdly its more the weight working imo)

Btw i had a great little battle with Lancer until his off lap 5 at the same corner i touched the gravel and went sideways.

It'll be unfortunate if you don't race again, but the late/early start time I understand.

As far as balancing is concerned, things seemed pretty equal in my testing, and the Mini is remarkably consistent, and very fast even with the changes. I think the field is still pretty balanced, but it varies driver to driver seemingly.

Chris

i know if i were to stop racing you can allways hit me up as a independant tester or something as its a great series you got here we just need a bit more people in both classes consistanly turning up (there was only 4 in GS?) and it will be REALLY competitive! ill mull over it ill no doubt turn up next week anyway but its not nice having in the back of your mind every lap "oh will i Dc now...or i hope my connection lasts to the end of the race"

And yeah i said that the mini was allways going to be a hard car to beat round an effectively long straight track and i gained more time in the race until my DC the mini has deffenatly changed as before i needed to rag the s**t outa it to get the best lap possible but now with less power and more weight i had to drive much more smoothly to get the best out of it and i rekon it was also kinder to its tyres.....

I got DCd right after the race ended....someone has to send me the replay

If you were concerned about it, you made it to the end of the race and were recorded as a finisher. I'll send you the replay as I said.

@Lancer: Gimme your e-mail address or something and I'll send you the replay. Unless I can just do it over PSN, that would be delightfully convenient.

@Paul: Have a think, and I would appreciate you running around in each of the cars and seeing how they perform at each venue in another drivers hands.

Chris

Yeah I know that, but I want to see them anyways. Maybe I can be champ next week already. Im thinking of choosing the Camaro for the last race, if the championship gets decided by then.

If I could be entered as a reserve driver with a golf, that would be great...

im not bothering the nets even worse now it goes off every 5-10mins but ****ing parents have a contract with aol until 2012 so im ****ed till then Lancer Evo to win the last 2 races and minis retirement is pretty much final! (unless someone else uses it)

i still rekon if i never Dced id of atleast got 2 2nds which would have made it almost impossible fr me to lose but oh well if this series wasnt so late for me id stay anyway but since it starts at 2am i cba staying up to have the net go off on me or get Dced from the room just out of bad luck.

good going Jav hope you dont struggle too much around a track that i think will favour the Civic and ill still keep track of the thread just to see how things are going.. :)

Opening the room in mere moments.

Terrible race for me. Not sure what was up, in qualifying I was running consistent 1:48s, in the race I struggled to get below 1:50. The car understeered really bad, and the first set of tires wore like the track was made of sandpaper.

Man did the Civic eat up it's front rubber quickly!!

I ran 1:47s in my own lounge....in the race practice I was running 50s and I think my best lap was 1:48.x in the race. But for the most part I ran a solid consistent 1:50.6.

And I could run that pace all race....right up to a few laps from the end, the Miata was so nice on it's tires.

Enjoyed running in ST though.

I was on the way home from rooms to go and looked at the clock and said Oh Crap I was supposed to race tonight at 8. Sorry I missed. Just closed on my house on Friday so I've been in house mode all weekend.

Another race, another rage quit by lucky... Not to mention what he did on the 1st lap by punting me into the wall damaging my car. Yet, I was able to pass him after he pitted and then he quits... Sore loser.
On the other hand, I cant believe Im the champion :). 👍

Right to the line? you are behind me!! you just push me out of the way! Wow, you really dont know racing. Oh dont you find it funny that you only quit when I pass you? When you are ahead, you dont quit, you keep going, but then you quit when I pass you. Stop making excuses. Race clean, stop being a sore loser. I lose races and I dont quit them, you damaged my car on 1st lap. Did I quit? NO!

BOTH of you guys need to check your egos a bit........

This is only a VIDEO GAME........

This does not make either of you the next Schumacher.

Just take it for what it is and have fun......if you aren't having fun, don't race.....it really is that simple.

I had fun racing with both of you. Both of you have your quirks in the game as I'm sure I do also, as well as everyone else.

In the end IT MEANS NOTHING. It's a fun championship, with no prizes, administered by a guy who's enthusiastic for both the real and virtual Continental Tires Series. If any of you see it as anything more than that you need a reality check.

I'll see you at the next round as usual where I'm out to have some fun. Hopefully there will be some like minded guys out there with me.

See you at Indy......well the virtual Indy.

Rob
