and when the civic had a very very good chance of winning poor show lancer ;) (there are in race saves now for enduros btw :sly:)

i found out yesterday that yes you can save your race now but when you log back into GT5 it starts you from that point where you saved and you can not do anything else until you have finished that race.👎

that sucks i was under the impression you could save leave it go online do whatever then go back later.... another screw up by PD F:censored:S

Whatever you want to drive is okay by me, posi. Make sure the car is legal and then come on in!

1472 - 6118 - 3916 - 1739 - 9852

Room is up for extra-long practice. Qualifying still set to start at 8:30 Eastern. If you don't know what that means, read above and check the rules too!

I'll be there once CAMi gets home and dupes the car over to my main account.

@Lancer: Right on man, glad to have you.

Chris

Room crash? Anyone still connected?

i got DCed not happy that room had something wrong with it even with the host getting booted so im less than happy now my championship lead will be destroyed! :grumpy: oh well may aswell move on the the next race!~

also lancer dont go to mad as i expect monza to suit the mini with its longs straights as Silverstone in BTCC going on right now is suiting the turbos...

Well I had another lonely race........Got run into by Lucky on lap 10 at turn 1 that damaged the left rear. Car wouldn't go straight. Then got proper shunted as Lucky and Overheated went past in the left hander going up to the Corkscrew. That damaged the right front.

Drove round to pit.......something glitched when I went into pitlane and ended up driving straight through pitlane with no stop. Drove ANOTHER slow lap to get back to pitlane. Finally got round and stopped on lap 12.....lost a TON of time.

Got my head down and pounded in the laps. Passed Lucky when he was in pitlane a little later and then Overheated the same way some laps later to put me back to second. Took my second stop out of sequence and fell in back behind Overheated. Somewhere in there Lucky either quit or DC'd. Caught Overheated again on track this time......was getting geared up for a race and Overheated just let me through at the last corner.

Then just pounded in laps.......gap to Nep in the lead slowly grew from 1:00 to 1:25 at the end but I proceeded to lap Overheated and then just ran slow consistent laps to the end.

Pretty crappy race for me in terms of enjoyment despite another second place.

Oh well.....on to Monza

Rob

I know I'm kinda late to the party but the saturday series I was in is moving to another day so I'd like to get in on this for the last few races if I can. I'll post my car choice later.

I'm going to run street tuner and run the Mazda. I look forward to running with you guys next week.

I'll get you on the entry list in a moment, Jay. Glad to have you in. The Mazdas provided one heck of a battle last race.

EDIT: Done Testing the BoP Changes.

Mini Cooper S (218/1100)
REMOVE SPORTS EXHAUST MANIFOLD
Add ballast to 1100kg

Chevrolet Camaro GS.R (460/1496)
Add ballast to 1496kg
Open Restrictors to 460hp

Make those changes for the next round, guys. Still mulling over changes to the Mazda, also the VW is fine in its current spec, at least by my findings.

hmmm well concidering the mini wasnt the dominant car at laguna seca it may still at monza but monaco im going to get trashed i can complain like the hondas did with the chevys if im now slower than the civic

ill do a test soon of mini vs civic maybe even vw and mazda to see whats what all i know is the mazda was the 2nd best in the straights now it should be the fastest in the straights...

In my testing this morning that wasn't the case. I think the added weight gives the Mini even better balance, the key advantage that the Mini has, in my opinion, is the gearbox. It's so easy to keep the car in strong or peak rev ranges and thus be consistently quicker than the other cars. Of course, that could also be driver bias.

Chris

Jonerz: How would you feel if I borrowed a similar format to start a Forza version of the series? More good possibilities, if you're interested in something like that.

Opening the restrictor only gets me to 451hp

Never mind.....did an oil change and went up to 474!....time to restrict it back down.

Camaro drives nicely at this weight and HP.

Glad to hear it, Rob!

You can go right ahead, brother. Unfortunately I don't have an Xbox and I won't be getting one in the foreseeable future. (My next purchase is a new gaming computer, after that a big, fancy race seat and rig.) - But I digress... Otherwise I'd be glad to run it with you, and would love to have liveries and the other cool things Forza provides. Good luck with it, man!

Sweet deal. The liveries will surely make it interesting.

My test at Monza with new specs were quite close but a track that should suit the mini is now only just in the minis favour making me think ill be soded round monaco which is a handling track but hey ho we will see...

Monza is going to be hard, now with the Camaro at 460HP!! Even with the reduced and more realistic slipstream its still hard to get away from the cars on fast tracks. I'll try my best anyways. Good luck guys

now that the camaro has a little extra bhp on a track that has a lot of straights this should be a good race for the camaro's 👍
