My remaining five players need to average a little more than 11 points each for that to happen. I very much doubt it, but stranger things have happened.
Its doable, but you pretty much need Carolina to manhandle New England.

And you win by .26 points.

Every week the "projected standings" say I'm going to lose out the rest of the season, and I'm on a 4 game winning streak. The projected scores each week seem to be pretty jacked up.

This could be a rough week for me. I don't (and hadn't aside from Martin before his injury) have a legitimate number 1 running back. Brown luckily came through for me last week. But Gio is on a bye and my only backup was Jonathan Stewart who is involved in the 3 headed monster that is Carolina's backfield with Williams and Tolbert. So now I've got Brian Leonhard, who I hope will be able to at least keep pace with Gainey. Also, my kicker is on a bye and Cincinnati is off this week as well. I had to pick up and start the NYJ defense. You never know with them nowadays. :scared:

My team took a hot, steaming pile on my this week. I would especially like to thank Donald Brown and Brian Leonhard (damn you, ex-Bengal) for scoring me .5 points combined this week. I'll be happy when I have Gio and my Bengals defense back next week.

Edit: Why did Mike Wallace finally decide to go off this weekend? :grumpy: I recall Omnis calling him a bum earlier.

Edit 2: Going to be a close race at the top of the standings. I believe I had the 2nd highest scoring team going into the week. But I also had the 2nd fewest points put up against me, so that certainly had helped my record throughout the season. This week really hurts though.

The top three teams are now tied with 9-3 records as of right now. Here they are ranked in order of total points (the tie-breaker used by Yahoo):

1. Sixty Niners
2. The Expendables
3. Az-Zahir Hakim

As if that is not interesting enough, Az-Zahir Hakim and Sixty Niners are facing off this week and Yahoo is only predicting the Sixty Niners as favorites by 12 points. Also, The Expendables are looking to have a tough matchup as they are currently slotted in as underdogs to The Wicky Radsters.

This week can seriously shake up the top of the leaderboard.

You realize we have 6 weeks left right?

Have to love when my team completely doesn't show up, have multiple players score 0 points, and his team goes off for one player having near 40 points.

Screwed myself this week by playing Boykin at flex instead of Fred Jackson. Stupid move. :grumpy:

I lost McGahee, Vick and Gronkowski in the space of two weeks last season.

I hastily picked up Toby so I could finally get rid of T-Rich.

Welp. Down go Gronk and AD.
This could be a very interesting postseason for us. Your loss of AD and Gronk is really rough. However, I'm still without a clear #1 running back (as has been the case for most of the season). Thankfully, Gio has put up points for me despite splitting carries with the Law Firm. And Brown is in a time share with T-Rich. I never know what I'm going to get out of him. At least I know I'm solid with Peyton, Demaryius, Vernon, Hauschka, and the Bengals D. Smif has been hit and miss all season, though. Luckily he pulled through for me last night with his late touchdown in the 4th quarter to give me the win this week.

I'm wondering if I should consider putting someone other than a running back (Brown at this point) in at my flex spot. Clay has been tearing it up lately, but being a tight end, there's no guarantee he's going to get the ball every game going forward. At least I know Brown will be getting touches every week. Decisions, decisions...

Looks like the matchups are going to be #1 Sixty Niners vs. #4 The Texas Twisters and #2 The Expendables vs. #3 Az-Zahir Hakim!

My team forgot how to score this week. And I'm at a loss at what to do with my flex spot, as Brown had a stinger in the first quarter after gaining 38 yards and didn't come back against the Texans. He's highly questionable. My bench is hit-and-miss. You never have any idea what any of them are going to do. I feel like despite hanging onto the #1 or #2 spot most of the season, I'm screwed come playoff time. Since I have no doubt the Bengals won't be getting a first round bye now with their loss, I need the Pats to put some pressure on the Broncos so Manning and Demaryius will be forced to play out the season and get me some points. Peyton's been my saving grace this season. If it wasn't for him, I may not have made the playoffs at all.

Might lose since it's late in the season and players won't be motivated. Andre Johnson had a terrible week, last couple weeks on a dying Texan team. Stafford and the Lions are pretty much done. Take us home Jamaal...

My team's best scorer was the kicker. I think that tells you why I lost 3 in a row .

I need some help here guys. I have made it to the final game in my money league.

There are two positions I need help with.

First, my QB2 spot (QB1 is Kaepernick): I have Kellen Clemens (Stl - vs TB) and Jason Campbell (Cle - @Nyj). Campbell is projected at 18 points while Clemens is only 11. Since Bradford went out Clemens has been a solid 8-10 points with occasional 15-20 breakouts in a league where 18-20 points is a good week. Campbell bounces between 3 points and 20+ points. He's inconsistent.

So, I have to choose between the chance at a great points boost or total flop or a guaranteed mediocre score, which might be just enough.

Second is my WR3. I have Emmanuel Sanders (Pit - @GB) and Anquan Boldin (Sf - vs ATL). Both are projected at 11 points and both only shine when the defense shines. Neither are primary ball targets.

No, I can't pick someone up in time, and we can't trade with guys not in the playoffs. These are my choices after injuries in a 10-team league with a 9-man offense (plus a K and Def) and 11 bench spots (includes K and Def bench, only if you want).

To be honest, I have no clue how I got to the finals. I have the lowest total points in the league.
