Some of my latest additions.

MANUFACTURER: Hot Wheels Racing
NAME OF MODEL: McLaren MP4/17D Kimi Raikkonen 1st Win Malaysia
PRICE: $50

EXTERIOR DETAIL COMMENTS: better than I was expecting from an older Hot Wheels, very nice Raikkonen figurine, good decals on it, the "diorama" setting of the box is very nice

INTERIOR DETAIL COMMENTS: doesn't have any interior detail lol

SCORE 80/100

This is the model that Kimi Raikkonen won his first race in at Malaysia in 2003. This is the same year that he challenged Michael Schumacher for the driver's championship in Formula 1 and also came very very close to winning it.

MANUFACTURER: AUTOart
NAME OF MODEL: Subaru Impreza WRC 2004 Solberg/Mills Japan Winner
PRICE: $30 ($50 with shipping & tax))

EXTERIOR DETAIL COMMENTS: very nice exterior detail, many little intricate details, I think everything is a tampo, what more can I say, just overall nice autoart quality

INTERIOR DETAIL COMMENTS: the interior is pretty nice as well, the engine is good detailed, the back has a spare wheel, and in the interior you can see regular autoart detail

SCORE 88/100

This is car that Petter Solberg won the 2004 Rally Japan in. He beat Loeb by about over a minute. Unfortunately that year, Loeb won by a reasonable margin the championship, unlike in 2003 where Solberg won his only WRC championship by a very narrow margin.

And the icing on the cake.

100/100 need I say more?

I'll give a more detailed review on the 787B later.

A good site for people in america, for 1:18's and generally good for seeing what you get with a certain model, detailed pictures.

My Mika Hakkinen model finally got here after 4 weeks and I also got a little present for Saint Nicholas day on Wednesday.

MANUFACTURER: Minichamps
NAME OF MODEL: McLaren MP4/15 Mika Hakkinen
PRICE: $35

EXTERIOR DETAIL COMMENTS: really nice detail considering its age, can't really complain about anything

INTERIOR DETAIL COMMENTS: doesn't have any interior detail lol, tho the steering wheel and figurine are top notch quality

SCORE 85/100

This is the model that Hakkinen drove in 2000, and that he had some memorable wins that year. He wasn't champion that year, but a nice addition nevertheless.

MANUFACTURER: Kyosho
NAME OF MODEL: BMW M5 "Nurburgring-Taxi"
PRICE: $70

EXTERIOR DETAIL COMMENTS: as good as the best Autoart's I have except the Mazda 787B

INTERIOR DETAIL COMMENTS: average quality for a good Kyosho or Autoart model

SCORE 91/100

I went to Nurburgring this year and saw this car in person (was not able to get a taxi ride unfortunately). When I saw this model at local hobby shop, really wanted one and I'm very happy I got it as a present for Saint Nicholas this year. đź‘Ť

And here are 2 goodies that came with the Hakkinen model (ordered them from same seller).

The first is the #001 issue of the McLaren Mercedes magazine and it has been signed by Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard. This issue from March 1998 (this must've been when the magazine first appeared). The second is the 100th anniversary issue of F1 Racing magazine (or some kind of anniversary issue anyway!) and it was signed by Jenson Button and Rubens Barichello and even has a certificate of authenticity that came with it. :)

Look awesome! đź‘Ť

Anyways, shopping in Sam's, I broke down and bought a 350Z for $10. Been a while since I bought a model, and I realized had very little Japanese cars.

man that car is GORGEOUS!!!(spelling?)

BTW my friend make the modle cars that caome in kits and hand makes every detail... its a true art.

It is, isn't it?

You spelt "gorgeous" right. Shame about "makes", "model" and "come"

I'd like to be able to build my own - I've got a few, still boxed, that I've acquired over the years - but I have neither the patience nor the time.

I got 2 more today. Got some extra cash by chance and got a good deal too.

I got that Senna model also a while ago, cheap on eBay, and I love it.

I would like to get an FW14B, but unsure of which brand yet.

i have about 1100 YES ELEVEN HUNDRED, ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED hot wheels, matchboxes, Johnny lightnings, and some more combined BUT WAIT! theres more! those were JUST the 1:64 size cars the hot wheels size cars,

A shop-Vac? That's kind of an unusual present for Christmas, well, for a female atleast.

Congrats on the 787b though! Pictars please.

I only told my dad 2 things of what I want for Christmas.
