These are all the buses I hope to have by the end of 2007 at the latest:

Leyland National Arriva
Plaxton Pointer Dart Brighton and Hove
Mercedes Minibus Arriva
Wright Volvo Renown Brighton and Hove
Leyland Olympian Metrobus
Leyland Olympian Arriva
1/24 Daimler DMS
Dennis Trident and Dart Pointer Metrobus set
Bristol VRIII Brighton and Hove
Plaxton Pointer Dennis Dart Brighton Blue Buses
Plaxton Premiere Brighton and Hove
Plaxton President Brighton and Hove
Dennis Enviro 400

With the exception of the 1/24 DMS and the metrobus the models are all less than 20 quid. The metrobus set is £45 and the DMS 1/24 is over £100.

Ah well, I need money first so its a long shot at the moment:D I am happy with my Brighton and Hove Dennis Trident for now:D So its all good.

Right I said I should be starting my collection at Christmas, well, it's been one a half weeks past but cut me some slack ok? :P

Just completed my first ever purchase on both a Model Car and on eBay as a whole, a 1/18th scale replica of Mark Webber's 2003 Jaguar R4 by Minichamps for 14 Quid.

Bargain in my books. Should be with me either later on today (It's 12:13am GMT as I type) or tomorrow at the latest. I'll be sure to take some pics!

Ok last one now:

My first Jordan and also first Fisichella model. This is a Jordan-Ford EJ13. Was piloted by Giancarlo Fisichella and he won the 2003 Interlagos GP. The model has rain tyres as well as finish line style wear that we've been accustomed to seeing on various Hot Wheels models. I am very happy to acquire this model, it is one of few Minichamps models with rain tyres and also one of few if not the only one with race wear on it which I happen to be a big fan of.

This race had quite a lot of incidents. First off a little background. This was 3rd race of the season. Coulthard won the first race and Raikkonen had his 1st carreer win at Malaysia, the 2nd race. Fisi got a 1st win at Brazil, the 3rd race, quite possibly the only time in modern F1 times (last 10-15 years) a 1st career win followed by another.

At this point, MS was at 8 points, Raikkonen at 16 and Montoya at 8 points as well. Coulthard was also sitting ahead of MS at 10 pts (this is prior to Brazil race).

The race at Interlagos began on rain, with Barichello on pole (a fellow brazilian, who by the way has had terrible luck at Interlagos, he DNF'd in this race). Coulthard and Raikkonen both passed Barichello and Raikkonen pulled a nice move on Coulthard, and Montoya pulled an amazing move on Barichello as well. Later Schumacher pulled off an outside pass in the rain on Montoya, simply brilliant, and Firman (in the Jordan) spun out and crashed in front of Fisi actually (fortunately Fisi avoided it). This was followed by an amazing pass by Raikkonen on the outside of Schumacher and lots of other action, I'll let you watch the video.

In fact, Raikkonen was declared the winner when this race was red flagged and he was on the podium because of a weird F1 rule since Raikkonen was leading 2 laps previous to incident. However, it was later shown that Fisichella was 56th lap and not 55th and he was awarded the win. Incidentally, Brazil 2003 was Jordan's 200th grand prix and Raikkonen was deducted 2 pts since he was awarded second (8pts instead of 10pts for first). Also incidentally, Raikkonen would go on to lose the championship to Michael Schumacher by 2pts (although he would have still lost if he had been even on points, but it would have made it pretty interesting for the last race I think).

This race is one of the best races of the last 5 years, up there with Suzuka 2005, Hungary 2006, Silverstone 2003 and a very few others. In fact, Fisichella was really lucky to win since his car went on fire the moment the race ended, what a crazy race! :lol

Nice! The FW18 is from '96, th eyear Damon Hill won the championship. Any MS Benetton is quite rare nowadays I think, they're very nice. The FW16 is Senna's last car. Scroll back 1 or 2 pages to see my 1:18 of it. 👍

A little tip. Don't keep models on a window sill, especially if you get a lot of sun through it. The paint can fade, and stickers/transfers can peel off.

1. thanks for the tip ;)
2. in the summer i get sun through it at sunset
3.MY 911 IS ABOUT TO FALL OFF! *runs toward window*

In saying that, I've got models on my window sill, but they are Bburago ones that I'm not too bothered about.

Didn't AA have an Aston Martin DBR9?
Yeah, AA have a sealed DBR9. Solido's is cheaper and has opening doors and bonnet.

You pays yer money and takes your choice.

Depends. Over here in Canada would probably cost me about $90cad to import the Solido. That's how much I paid for my AA one just recently. And the opening doors and bonnet, there's not much engine (or anything for that matter) to see with the opened bonnet and the interior isn't up to AA standards. The AA is also nicer exterior IMO. If you live in UK though, where the Solido is 25 pounds and AA is like 50 pounds, I can see people buying the Solido instead. Make yer choice.

i got a 1/18 Bburago Bugatti EB 110 for christmas:)

I got this one from a Wal-Mart back in summer 2004. I still cherish it quite a lot to this day. May only be a Bburago, but the car is awesome and holsd nice memories for me. 👍

There's a particular WRC Focus from Solido that I've wanted to get, so now that I know there's a cheaper DBR9 I'd might go for that too because they don't seem THAT bad. Am I wrong?

My plans for the AA Skyline have been put on hold because a chair is in viking direct for the same price, except reduced from £100 to £40

why do AA bother to do all the interior for cars and then seal it off??

The Jaguar R4 arrived today! :D In it's full livery from the 2003 Season, #14 driven by Mark Webber:

I'm really pleased with it, there are two tiny bits of damage (Nose and Camera hosting) but otherwise, I'm not complaining as it's my first car! Kind of inspried me to collect the remaining 4 cars Webber has driven for, '02 Minardi, '04 Jaguar, '05 and '06 Williams.
