the supra is a Kyosho and you're right $200 is a lot, but then it is quite a desireable model and it has been out of production for a long time.

if i were you i'd get that GT1 with the Buy now, since it is rare the price will end up more than £45 if you let it bid with 5 days left...

Which one? the '98 or '99 model? I prefer having the '98 model first I think since I've spotted the '99 model more then the '98...

I like the 98 more because the livery is more adventurous, the 99 is kinda boring. lol

However, the 99 is cheaper at a great BIN price, so meh. In the end its your choice, but if I had the money, and HAD to pick ONE, I'd go for the 98

Those Toyota GT-One are quite nice. I have the '99 #3 one, the one that finished in 2nd place (their best finish ever) behind the BMW V12 LMR #15 (which I have as well by Maisto). The #3 is the rarest one of the GT-One's I think, I've never seen it on Ebay. It's the one with all japanese lineup including Ukyo Katayama and ESSO Ultron livery. I consider myself pretty lucky to have the ESSO Ultron one since that's the only one I've ever wanted.

Well, it looks like I have to let these two pass me. My dad won't buy it for me since he's the only one with paypal and he doesn't trust Paypal for a damn. So now I've got to search throughout Norway for options and since Norway sucks, chances that I can order these models within 5 days are minimal 👎

To whoever interested, I suggest you snatch up that one that Fred posted. I'm not sure how he found it since I can't find it on Ebay no matter what I search for.

Hey fred, since you're so good at finding stuff. Can you find me a Montoya Williams FW26 by Minichamps in 1:18 and also a BAR Honda 006 (2004) either Sato or Button also by Minichamps 1:18?

To be honest I found it somewhat by accident, in the AutoArt section on Ebay...

Found one FW26, but it's in Singapore and those guys are absolutely nuts with shipping prices, so I'd advise against it...

Plenty of Ralf FW26s, though... which is normal, since no one wants them.

I'm glad I stopped collecting nearly 2 years ago... I would have gone bankrupt in the recent months, I'm pretty sure.

My Collection:

Dukes of Hazzard 1969 Dodge Charger
2005 Dodge Viper Convertible
Aston Martin Vanquish... :sly:
Peugeot 407 Silhouette
Ferrari 456

Wishlist:

1965 Lotus 33 F1 Car
1967 Lotus 49 F1 Car
Nissan 350Z
Lamborghini Gallardo
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

I'll get pics of my current collection as soon as I can...👍

Unfortunately that BAR 006 is a bit pricey as is the Williams. I will eventually find one hopefully.

That BAR is normal price really, when they get released they are £39.99. 1/43s are £19.99, although I think minichamps bumped up the prices to £41.99 and £21.99 for the 2006 Mclaren as the chrome took extra work.

I have seen the Button BAR 006 car for 20 pounds (1:18), so yes it is expensive. I would never pay 40 pounds for it.

Ok, its normal price when it was released then:P

The prices get cut in half after a year or so in most model shops (modelzone in particular).

Agreed, Ebay isn't always the incredible deal-finder everyone wants it to be...

They have a ****load more models available than any brick and mortar store around here... and for cheaper in most cases so I think so although it may not be incredible.

I'm still for a way to buy my GT-ONE, if I want to have it, I gotta be fast, only 4 days left :scared:

I could always wait till August when I turn 18 and thus can have my own Paypal account...

Are any of you going to buy the GT-One #3 '99 that Fred posted? If not, I'm gonna post it on another board because it's a very rare model, I'm not even sure how Fred found it since it doesn't show up in ebay search if you search for Auto art Toyota. If any of you are planning to bid on it though, I won't post it on another board.

I'm planning to bid on it. Thanks for asking before you posted it (if you haven't already).

Roo
It's mine.

I always wanted a GT-ONE, but never got round to getting one. £45 + postage is probably a bit on the expensive side, but I don't care. It's mine.

You werent kidding either:D Auction ended early it says. good buy!👍

I haven't let anyone else know. :)

@ Roo, nice buy mate. A good GT1 as well. The #1 must be the one that set the pole position at Le Mans '99. It also looks nice to have a car with #1 on it.

In my collection, I have the '99 winner BMW by Maisto and also that #3 Toyota which finished 2nd. I also have the '98 winner Porsche 911 GT1 by Maisto. What would go nice with that is the car that finished 3rd, the Nissan R390 GT1 Calsonic driven by an all japanese team I think incl. Aguri Suzuki. The car that finished 2nd is another 911 GT1, #25. I think that one must've been made by UT models.

You're 17 going on 18?

Damn, I never even considered you to be 18, though you do look like you're only 15 in ur msn dp.

Nevertheless, I'm curious to know if anyone here owns a 1/12 scale AutoArt model, especially one of those uber-expensive Lamborghini Gallardo models. I've always wondered if the approximate $1,000 you pay for one of them is worth it dollar-for-detail...

Hey guys, is this something worth getting?

http://my.qxl.no/accdb/viewItem.asp?IDI=413857597

It's Norwegian so I can buy it  Apparently, this is a special edition Corvette, 40 year Corvette special edition or something. Looks nice but it would be cooler in black...

I also found a BMW LMR:

So I finally found something in Norway itself, WOW...

And this should be something for you guys:

Number 2 Toyota GT-ONE for only 20 dollars so far!

The first one looks like Maisto ZR-1. It's an older Maisto release so don't expect much in terms of quality. The 2nd is the Maisto BMW V12 LMR. I have it, I paid about $25 for it. It won the '99 Le Mans.

The reason that Toyota is only at $20 because it has 6 days left.
