Damn, loving those models^^

Well, I've owned these two (Panoz Esperante GTR-1, and Holden Racing Team '99 Commodore VT) for 6 years now... and they've never previously been removed from their boxes. They were sent here from Brisbane a few days ago, and the boxes recieved heavy damage during the trip... so I may as well remove them now.

(1:18's)

... And my only 1:43 :)

New Camera!! :) :)

Well, I'm happy. I've just ordered this AutoArt special:

Bought it through diecastmuscle.com, and managed to save $20 by not buying directly through AA.

It shall look very nice next to my red GT road car.

Nice models, hope there wasnt any damage to them in transport.
How well does the LZ7 perform then? I have the one down from it the LZ5, 6.0mp, 6.0x optical zoom, though i use my Canon 20D for my models :)

Just some photos of my last purchase.

My models aren't the nicest, but if you guys like these, I could possibly get more....:)

Thanks bondy :) . Unfortunately the Panoz did receive some damage. The left rear view mirror snapped off (had to stick it back on for the pictures)... and the Motorola stickers on both sides are beginning to crack. But I’m pretty sure that was caused through time.

Ooh, it's brilliant! :) The images are so much clearer then anything I've ever used before, and as you can see from the photos, it actually focuses on what you want it to (unlike my last pics). I've only had it for about a day now, so I havent yet been able to used its many features 👍

Seeking opinions. I really want to buy this model:

Or any 1:18 of a 365 GTS/4. However it seems kind of expensive. Anyone know about the quality on models like this? It seems that Mattel's hold over the Ferrari license means these things' prices are jacked way up and I want to know if I spend $120 including shipping on a scale model that it'll be the best. Opinions?

Even if that were an Elite edition, which it isnt, it wouldnt be worth $100 doug. You could probably find one one ebay (like F1GTR said) for about half that. Its a pain but sometimes the model you've always wanted isnt made by a very good company, send a few emails to Kyosho and maybe they'll think about it! :)

well me and a friend were in edinburgh yesterday and had a little photoshoot at the bottom of the castle, couple of pics just now while i get the rest off him.

I passed on this model at Toys R Us when it was about $15, and I don't really regret it. The model quality is toy like, worth at best maybe $20, $25. $100 is ridiculous for this as it's faaar from a quality model.

$100 on a Mattel?! No would be the polite answer. You should check eBay.

In the last six months, I've seen the vehicle for sale precisely one time on eBay, and it pulled in nearly $50. Not just factoring in quality here but rarity - everyone wants either the 365 GTB/4 or a newer Ferrari - it looks like I'm stuck and have nowhere else to go!
