Well, I said I've been on a BMW buying binge of late. I guess I should of been more specific... I've been on an E30 M3 binge of late. Two months and $500 gone. I am an idiot. :banghead:

I love that car so much though. The history it has is unbelievable. I could tell you the story behind each of the cars/models pictured. I won't though. I'll spare you my long rambling and instead will just tell you about the 1/18 Minichamps model.

The BMW E30 M3 pictured above was built and campaigned by team Bigazzi out of Italy. The livery shown is what it looked liked at the 1992 Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours.. an event it won by less than one second! It just out nudged a Schnitzer backed E30 M3.

Here are the official race results/times. Note that M3's finished first, second, and third.. sweeping the podium. Talk about dominance!

I also managed to find a video of the last 5 minutes or so of the race. If you watch, you'll see Steve Soper driving the #5 Bigazzi M3 overtake the #3 Schnitzer car on the last lap to take the win. Pretty good stuff.

E30 M3 Wins Spa 24hr Race by Less Than 1 Sec!!

The victory by Team Bigazzi in '92 marked the fourth time in five years an E30 M3 won the Spa 24 Hours.

Love the 1:18 M3! 👍

I'll re-quote myself from another forum, because I can't be bothered writing again:

Happy snaps!

The tobacco stickers arrived yesterday also, so I spent last night carefully adding them. Unfortunately I was a bit of an idiot and placed the decal (on the rear wing) on an angle… so now I can’t get it off without damaging the stickers. It’s only a couple of millimeters off, but it's enough to make me cringe everytime I look at it.

Not bad for AU$100 (Commodore), and AU$80 (R32). :)

If you have a spare 2,750 quid J-Pap, Amalgam are doing a 1:8 F1 LM.

OMG A new Mad Max Interceptor but its still not the one from the first film! Damn them!

Weren't Kyosho teasing a Fairlady 240Z a while ago that looked like the Devil Z from Wangan Midnight?

I love the test cars/protoype models on the mini 'Ring set.
As well as the LP670-4 SV.

What's that weird black Enzo with the tall wing from your link Samurai?

I wasn't able to go to the show so I don't have much information but when I see some I will pass it on.

As far as I can tell the Black Enzo is a test model and I don't know if they are going to put it into production or not.

I anticipate extreme wallet rape from AUTOart and Kyosho come later this year...
Well, hopefully I will have the room and money for all these hot new diecasts lol...

I have exactly the same Harrods F1 GTR, '96 GT1 and GT1 98 as you Lynx. I love the 97 GT1 Evo, Panoz and GT One you have.

My latest addition is the Schnitzer Group-A E30 M3 that Roberto Ravaglia drove to victory in the 1989 Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft. This was Ravaglia's third touring car title in as many years ('87 WTCC, '88 ETCC, '89 DTM). This 1/18 model was made by Minichamps and sold exclusively through BMW dealerships but they have long since sold out. I was lucky enough to get a hold of one for a reasonable price.

I've just ordered five 1/18 Minichamps Peugeot 908's. There's a signed one by the winners this year which I didn't opt for as I the car I wanted to win didn't.

I ordered:
2008 #8 (the only one that wasn't on the podium, has my fave drivers)
2008 HY Concept
2009 #8 2nd (Seabass, Sarrazin and Montagny- my fave drivers)
2009 #9 1st
2009 #17 Pesca 908

I hate having to save for a new car. There are about 20 more models I would like to get but will just have to hold off I guess. *awaits tax return next month*

I've mainly limited by space. But I'm only really going buy Massa's F1 car from every year (I started with the F2008, and I've ordered the F60) and any new LMP1 Car Peugeot make. I'm also waiting for AutoArt to make 1:18 scale Lola Aston LMP1 to go with my 2008 DBR9.

That and I've also get the last car I wan't to finish my collection of my favourite Porsche Race Cars. I have the 917K, 917LH, 917/30, 956L, 961, 911 GT1 '96, 911 GT1-98.

Nice Focus! ^^

I have a few 1:18 scale models. But I just got these 5 1:43 scale and I love them. They're all 911 RSs. 3.0 Carrera RS, 964 Carrera RS, 993 Carrera RS Clubsport, 996 GT3 RS, and 997 GT3 RS.

They look great! What brand? I'm guessing Spark and/or Minichamps?

Nice models!^^

I bought myself a mini-me double of my car the other day.
They look so adorable together!... :D

It's a 1:18 AutoART (right hand drive) GT-S.

Check this out. I could never afford it but they're making a limited amount of gold plated Hurst Hemi Under Glass 1966 Barracudas. Looking on ebay they also made a few kits to make 1966 Barracudas too, definitely need to get my hands on one of them some day.
