Could anybody enlighten me on the difference between the show car and production AutoArt Bugatti Veyron's?

As in value, features/detail etc.?

Thinking of getting rid of my show car one for a production one (mostly for the colour change)

My Camera's broke at the moment, but when I get a new one I'll tale pics of 1996 Porsche 911 GT1, GT1-98. 956, Gulf DBR9, '95 Harrods F1 GTR and 205 T16.

I did use to have a Peugeot 905 model, but I haven't been able to find it recently and it had the most fragile spoiler of any model I've ever owned, but it was still an awesome scale model. I just need to find it...then I'll take pics of it.

Anyway, I still have some pics, of a diecast Maserati MC12 (with removable roof!). Some pics may be blurry.

And, for the record, it's made by Hot Wheels.

You should probably edit your previous post before the mods pick up on it.

I've picked up a few models the last few weeks. No pictures as I have been lazy but they are:

kyosho 1/43
ferrari dino
ferrari 308
ferrari f50
shelby cobra #98 blue

minichamps
bentley speed 8 2003 le mans 24h winner.

Are IXO le mans cars any good compared to spark/minichamps?

So far the spark ones appear to be best but I haven't seen any ixo's in person to compare with minichamps directly.

I love the RUF CTR3, aswell as your 250 GTO. Also what scale and make is the F1 LM.

Thanks. RUF CTR3 was one of the new ones I got this week. I have a yellowbird and CTR2 on the way to make the set.

I have to say the 250gto is my 2nd favourite so far of my kyosho ferrari's. First has to be the f40. The detail when you look in that engine bay is amazing. The Kyosho Ferrari's are easily my favourite of my 1:43's for their quality.

The F1 LM is 1:18 by UT models. I wish I could get it in 1:43 to complete my set but only one I have seen for sale was for $600 and it seems a bit extreme for a 1:43

Hello, here is my newest acquisitions.

1. Welly Dodge Ram - But I modified the suspension for it to look like a 4x4. Also I bolted a hitch on the rear bumper to tow the trailer.
2. GMP Mopar Trailer with all the tool goodies.
3. Autoart Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.

-------------------------------------------
Some cars that I already had.
1. Autoart Dodge VIper SRT10
2. Brookefield Collectors Guild Dodge Viper ES
3. Maisto Chrysler PT Cruiser.

Some impressive collections and setups there O_O
Anyway here is a batch of pics of two older ones I had that I just recently got pics of:

AUTOart 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe:

Kyosho 2008 BMW E92 M3 (I painted the wheels black):

Have had a fair number of additions so thought I would just post all my displays

Nice stack of McLarens there. I bought one just like the red one years ago now (I think I was about ten at the time or something, I'm now 24) and it's always been one of my favourites. I've always collected more race cars than road cars but the McLaren F1 is just special.

Next time I'm home I'll have to start taking a few pics for this thread.

I should really take some pics of my UT Models McLarens and put them in this thread. I promise I will once I make a small studio to shoot them in.

As promised... unfortunately, not many pics (well, relative to my collection) and not particularly good ones either as I only had my phone cam available.

First, some Minichamps Formula 1. Starting with the best, Hill's 1996 Japanese Grand Prix FW18, in which he won the World Championship:

Then a couple of Schumacher cars, including the B194 which is one of my favorite F1 cars (though not at the time, being a Hill fan...)

I liked Benetton's colour scheme so I got an example of their cars for the next four years, different drivers:

Some 1:64 scale Minichamps - Danner's Alfa 155 DTM and Schuey's 1993 Benetton

A few random rally cars - Jesus Puras' Citroen Xsara kit car, Kenneth Eriksson's Hyundai Accent WRC and Lopes' Pug 206 WRC

09052009609.jpg

A couple of Renaults - Menu's 1996 BTCC Laguna, a standard Renault Megane Classic and a R8 Gordini

Another on the BTCC theme, Paul Radisich's 1994 Ford Mondeo

A classic Ferrari Grand Prix car, Ascari's 1950 375

Up to 1:18 with my Citroen DS, with adjustable suspension, made by Solido

Also by Solido (as was the Gordini), an Alfa 147 (in 1:43 again)

And to round off for now, a bunch of Bburago 1:43 cars. I sold quite a few of my Bburago ones a while ago, but kept these as despite their lower quality than many models, they're quite fun (and very cheap) to collect:

Most of my models are in storage so that's it for photos for now!

Quite like the btcc cars. Always had an appeal for that series just could never follow it properly being in Australia.

It's a shame they don't play it on TV here. I've only ever watched one race of the BTCC... about 8 years ago. IMO, it has MUCH better racing then the V8 Supercars.

I'd kill for a 1:18 scale Alan Menu '97 Laguna, or a '98 Rydell S40 👍

I have to correct myself actually - the model I have is the '96 car (as you can blatantly see in the pic yet I somehow missed :dunce:), where he came second in the title. The '97 car is differentiated by white sponsors logos on the bumpers rather than the red ones on the '96 car. So yes, I'd kill for the '97 Laguna too!

If I could find them, I'd also love to get Menu's '94 Laguna, Tarquini's '94 Alfa 155, Winkelhock's '94 BMW... in fact, most of the '94 grid, which was my favourite ever season. I'd also like Menu's '00 Mondeo, either Watts' or Harvey's '98 Peugeot 406, and Matt Neal's championship winning Honda Integra from a few years back too - though with a number of those I'm not aware if they even produced them. I'd like a fair few of the ETCC/WTCC ones too.

All in 1:43 though - I don't know if they ever made any touring cars in 1:18.

The only other model I'm really after is a 1:43 Martin Rowe Maxi Megane, which is one of my favourite rally cars.

^^ Yep, I’m with you there.

I came home a happy chappy today! 👍 The models were on sale because the boxes were slightly damaged… so I also bought the Bathurst Winner Brock / Perkins ’84 VK Commodore. Both models look fantastic. More pictures to come when I get some daylight. :) They appear a bit dull at night.

Need to search around for some marlboro stickers now.

Don't bother clicking the pics because I only uploaded them 200px max size.
Only very small pics because I rushed them and Imageshack would have taken forever to upload 31 10 Megapixel Images. All UT Models or Pauls Model Art (UT Models before they became UT Models) except for the 911 GT1 but I included that because it's got Alan McNishs signature on the back.
