I reckon I could find that here for sure. I'll have a look next time I'm in the model shops.

This one right?
caldina_gt-t.jpg

Off topic, how's the car btw? I'm looking to get something inexpensive, roomy, quick and reliable in the New Year and the Caldina definately fits that bill.
That's the one dude. die-cast would be good, but a plastic kit I can edit the front bumber and maybe rims to what mine looks like :sly:

I love it a. Mind you my previous car was a pulsar haha I find them to be mid sized as far as wagons go You have your big hatches, Caldina's, legacy's then the likes of your Legnums and Stagea's

I personally like the Caldina as it's a Toyota and they in my eyes are the most reliable. These Caldina's have a 2.0L Turbo, ofcourse you can get non turbo etc, but I think Toyota went all out with their turbo model. Tool boxes in the boot, above the spare wheel, yet still out of sight. Enough space to fit a low profile tyre should you go that way instead of the space saver, spare tyre, in the spare wheel well, Standard tinted windows. The oil filter is eeeeeasy to get to lol, comfort on long travels and short definitly, 4wd, built to last and withstand an impact, They even look racey/sporty.

Perforemance wise. I do not condone this but on an open straight road I Mine was off the clock at 180kph and still going I'd say governed at 200kph at least.

I'll pm you some pics if you wish? Sorry to write a novel lol

I think Fujimi have just about every major contemporary Ferrari made in their series in red boxes. I saw them all in a few shops yesterday and was tempted by the 288 GTO but it would just end up with my Matchless Crowd Racing GT-R and my R32 GT-R, untouched under the pool table gathering dust. :dunce:

EDIT: Here it is...

Oh ok, I don't know why I thought someone sold an assembled plastic Enzo. Speaking of that, I really want to build a 1/24 Tamiya Enzo kit. I have a few photos (maybe a link if I can find it) of one of the Tamiya kits built with some pretty anal detailing. I'll post'em later on, i'm sure you guys will find them pretty interesting.

Thanks for the great reply mate! I don't think the chances of finding a die-cast one are high but I will definitely look out for a kit. Photos would be great, even though there are many GT-T's here it would be good to see some close up pics, interior etc.

AUTOart Gran Turismo 4 GT-R Race Car. I wish I had the pace car with the blue lights on top, but to no avail. Does anyone know if there's an actual car with that livery on it, or is it a GT exclusive?

Also, does anybody have any tips on keeping these things clean, or cleaning it when they get dirty?

Ok guys quick question: I have an AUTOart Ford GT in yellow that I wish to sell. It's in great condition except for one thing, there is a mark about 0.5cm across just under the rear spoiler lip where the paint has been taken off. The car was purchased this way.

If I was to put it on Ebay, how much £ would I be looking for? Apart from the mark, car box and styrofoam packaging are all in fine condition.

Anyone?

With the packaging and all I personally would setup a "Buy It Now" price of $60.
Thats pretty fair considering lots of the Autoarts on ebay are taken out of the box anyway to take pictures and what not.

Edit: Well ~60 Euros in your case.

I've actually put it on quite cheap.

£36.50

4 views already, hope it sells.

Looks pretty good, however I think that scratch will be a probelm for some people. I for one wouldn't want to buy a model car that was damaged in some form, others may be different though. I'd say £40-50 I wouldn't really expect much more than that if I'm honest. You can pick one up off GTModels for £88 but I'm sure I could find a brand new one for less than that elsewhere. Anyway, good luck with the sale. 👍

Bought these a few weeks ago, only just got round to uploading the pictures. I've been waiting years for these 2, and now they can join LBL 6D for a Mini Monte trio.

I just got around to uploading all my 1:64 scale model cars
I just decided I'll start collecting for real not like toys anymore.
So here is my collection (They suffered a lot of abuse in their early years thanks to me and my childish mind :grumpy:)

Hot Wheels

Matchbox (the old ones were my dads)

Majorette's

Siku's

Other

I apologize if the pictures are not the best quality, but I couldn't spare a lot of time with that many cars.
Also if you have any questions about any of them just ask.

Those are pretty awesome, you should take some diorama pics with the *three of them some time.

Finally got around to getting better pics of this beast. Notice the lower profile tires and lower ride hight when compared to stock :P

Airline? Failing that, you can buy compressed air in a can.
That should do it.

:irked:👍

I use a soft bristled powder make up brush to dust the outside of mine when they need it. I got some weird looks when I asked for it for christmas a couple of years back.

*massive collection of automotive greatness*

Wow you have some stuff there. I especially like the LMP and DP cars. Some sweet older Nascar stuff you have as well. I want that kind of diversity in my diecast collection! 99% of what I have is Nascar diecast, but there are many hundreds of them in 1:24. Where do you get your LMP or DP cars from, just off the internet? Anyways, 👍 👍 on that collection.

Are we allowed to shamelessly plug models we are selling? Because I have a trio of diecasts on eBay right now I'd like bids on. :P

I was looking for some Gundam models for someone in the Gunpla thread and thought I would take some photos of Ferrari model kits while I was at it as we were talking about the Fujimi Ferrari kits a couple of pages back. Also DRIFT4EVA, unfortunately I didn't see any Caldinas of your gen in kits, but there are plenty more shops and so much stuff that I may have overlooked it.

You ain't seen nothing yet...! I took a bunch more pics if you want to see them.

I'm making a rather large post here. If anyone feels it's too big please let me know and I'll remove them/some. Anyway a bit of background. Hong Kong really is a scale model collectors paradise. There are tonnes of tiny shops stacked to the roof with every conceivable model, mainly cars, Gundams and military models. Some of the car kits they have are awesome. I often find myself in the shops looking at Koenig Testarossas and the like and wishing I had more patience and skills when it comes to modelmaking. Anyhow, I thought you guys may appreciate the pics.

The various colour labels pertain to special offers that are on, for example all green labels are one price or you can buy two and get the third at a discount etc. The pictures aren't very good quality as you're not allowed to take photos in the shops. I thought the egg-style super-deformed planes were awesome, I may have to buy a couple.

Rue were these taken in MK on Tuesday? You've done something I never dared do. A friend and I use to trade rare car scale models we find in shops, and not once did I have to gut to just take photos (carried around a pen & pad to check prices).

Who's going to stop a random white fella drinking a king can of San Miguel from taking the odd cheeky snap, eh? Actually, a few people in the Gundam themed shops. Do it until you get told not to I say!

EDIT: Yes, they were taken in MK yesterday afternoon. Didn't know you were interested in model cars too. We'll have to make a pilgrimage there soon, there are a couple of cars and Gundam models I'm on the lookout for.
