Ive just pre ordered a 1:18th Craig Lowndes & Warren Luff Bathurst 1000 50th Anniversary VE Commodore. Its painted in Peter Brocks old Marlboro colours. That 2013 Viper looks amazing in black. I will have to add that to the list of cars I must own.

Show a picture when you get it. :sly:

I will but the model shop said it could be a couple of months until they come in. The deadline for them to place orders hasnt even passed yet they said.

Yeah. Still sounds awesome though!

I rarely buy diecasts anymore, but I bought one today:

Not my pic, but it's on display at my work along with the only two other diecast I display(bottom two), Ford Racing Mustang(#'d to 6000) & '51 F1 Pickup Truck. This car is autographed by Cale Yarborough, and that piqued my interest.

P.S. Couple of nice Z cars! :D

Was at a different Costco today, and as I'd heard on other forums, they're not limited to just Maisto "Special Editions." Not only did they have a bunch of "Premiere" cars like the Carrera GT I bought and the Panamera, they also had a whole bunch of reboxed Bburago cars, including the Nissan GT-R, Porsche 356 Cabriolet, and Alfa 8C. I would've bought the Alfa had they had any red ones.

The GT is pretty cool, though. The only issue I have is that, for some unknown reason, everything behind the front bumper, as well as the panel at the back where the exhaust exits, is chromed plastic. As far as I can tell, the back panel is Carbon Fiber, and the stuff in the front should be plain black. I think I might take the car apart and spray these parts black.

Picked this Alfa Romeo up from Costco a couple days ago. Mom brought home the good camera, and the lighting outside was nice, so it was inevitable I took some pictures of it. :P

Bizarre, a sub-brand of Spark. They mostly do a lot of the older odd-ball race cars and such.

Anyway thanks :)

Yeah I've always found Bizarre a bit....bizarre  But I love Spark. Probably my favorite model company.

Here's a few from my collection, just took them out from the cupboard.

A few 1:18's

and the rest are 1:24 i think.

I also have quite a few other models, will try and upload some pics of them soon.

Do they have a red or black one?

I don't recall seeing any others in the bunch, and I'm thorough about searching their entire display. Being a new model, I think it would be logical to assume they may stock some more in a different color soon; when I went this time, they had an abundance of black SRT Vipers, whereas last time there was just one red one. It seems like a pretty high-quality model for the price, though the rear bumper is made out of plastic and doesn't quite flow with the rest of the bodywork.

But, I love that yellow Alfa, even though I want to find that red one. But I have to find that SRT GTS 1:18 ASAP!!!

@Mp10: I'm liking that R34 GTR, who makes it?

That would be from MotorMax. Found one myself at the flea market. :D

Really want the McLaren F1...

Thanks! Now I'm gonna be hunting this one for sure :D!!

1:64 MINI Cooper S JCWs made by RMZ:

I like the details on these Minis, but they should go into the Hot Wheels and Matchbox collectors thread. There's thousands of 1:64 scales of different 1:64 car companies and these will fit right in.

How can you afford all of those die casts, Doog? And how can you find space? I'm looking at getting 1 or 2 1/18 cars, but I have no room.

So I'm settling with aiming to get 5 1/43 cars by the end of the year (Ixo MkII Escort rally, Sierra Cosworth rally, Bentley Speed 8, Autoart Viper Competition Coupe, and probably a Lancia of some description) and a 1/18 SRT Viper . Considering I already have two Team Oreca Vipers, I think my preference towards Vipers is starting to become evident.
