Thank you Vip. Back on 1:18 shopping spree.
Now have 2 CTS-V Race Cars coming, both unpainted.
Thanks! :)

After you click on them, go the 2nd link under Log-In(Full Line retailer), then refind them.
They're at $75 a piece though.

I smashed up mine when I was a kid :indiff:
I still have mine in prime condition :) 👍 next to a Diablo SV.
Sorry to hear about yours though. :guilty: I did the same with a red Ferrari F50.

I'm saving up my money so i can buy a 1:24 Sauber Mercedes C9. :) I've also stumbled across this black R89C on Ebay. Weird. It's from 1990 and the main sponsor is MEN'S TENORAS. The number is #85 and it's 1:43 scale.

Anyone who's interested, this is the website:
http/search.ebay.co.uk/Nissan_R89C_W0QQfltZ9QQfromZR8
It dosen't come up as a link.

It's the fourth picture down.
Or an easier way, is to type www.ebay.co.uk then go to search bar and type in Nissan R89C.

Today I went to the local hobby & craft stores that I found in my phone directory. One of them had a very good number of die-cast cars, but most of them were old-school american muscle cars, like Chevelles, older Corvettes, Plymouth Hemi Cuda, Firebirds, and so on, cars that I'm not even the slightest bit interested in (ok so maybe I like the Shelby GT500 and Corvette L67 or w/e it's called, but that's it, and maybe the Mustang Mach 1). Besides, the Shelby GT500 they had was $80 CAD. That's bloody expensive (at least for me it is). They also had a couple of Hot Wheels and Maisto and a few Bburago, but none of them were interesting to me. The Hot Wheels 360 Spider, 550 Barchetta and Corvette C6 Convertible cost about $50 CAD each, so I dropped the idea of buying from there.

The other store I went to had mostly a couple of AUTOart cars (not very interesting cars either) and a couple of mainstream Maisto's (Lexus SC430, Jag X-Type, bleh). There's 2 more major hobby stores in town, and one of them is supposed to be like the biggest in Canada. I'll visit that one whenever I get the time.

Anyway, I decided to pay a trip to local Toys R Us after my small adventure through town. I found they had only a small number of cars, but they had what I was looking for. They had a red 360 Spider and Diablo GTR for 20cad and a dark blue Murcielago for 18 cad (all by Hot Wheels). They also had a F40 and F512M and the rest of the cars were like Merc SLK, Beetle, Merc S-Class  . And now I'm the happy owner of a dark blue Murcielago.

If you haven't realized yet, I'm more of a casual collector and I'm mostly based towards the models from Maisto, Hot Wheels and BBurago, I don't really have an interest in paying $50-$150 on a die-cast car. The only car I'll pay $50 for is either a F1 car when the time comes and I have some extra cash or a McLaren F1.

Anyway again, I don't want to keep you guys reading anymore. I can't wait to get the new furniture in my basement in september or october whenever it may so I can showcase my cars properly. Here's the car I got.

360 Spider that I'll prolly buy in Sept.

My long term plan is to get a red Testarossa, a McLaren F1 roadcar, a Merc SLR and if possible a blue Viper GTS with the white stripes. All other cars I get are gonna be bonuses like this 360 Spider, and probably the Diablo GTR and if I find a Corvette C6 Coupe in red or yella. 👍

They are nice. 👍 I have a Murcielago in metallic green. i have a background cardboard slide in the box which is a bullring where the bulls are warming up and people in the back ground. :)

Bburago are the makers. :) I bought the model when the Murcielago was available for sale on it's debut.

What i'm really after is a black 1:18 Lamborghini countach LP500.

I bought another car today.

Ferrari F355 Spider 1/18 by Hot Wheels. It's pretty sweet. They also had a F512M, black & red Viper SRT-10 and I also found a '72 Mustang Boss 429 and '70 'Cuda, both 1/18 by Johnny Lightning or something, both looked pretty sweet.

In addition, I bought a 1/64 Ferrari 575M Maranello racing version by Hot Wheels, only cost me 99c. The car was 20 canadian$, so again, stuff is cheap at Toys 'R Us. In like 2 weeks or so, I'll go and have a look at another big Toys 'R Us that's in the northern part of my city, maybe they'll have something better.

By this time next year, I plan to have that F512M, a 360 Spider, and many many others like Viper SRT-10, blue Viper GTS, 575M Maranello, Testarossa, Diablo GTR, a silver McLaren F1, a silver Mercedes SLR McLaren and others if I can. :dopey:

Went to my city's biggest hobby shop 2 days ago, I saw some nice AUTOart cars there and other american muscle car models. I found some of the models you guys were talking about.

Here's the ones I can think off my top of my head that they had by AUTOart. Cadillac CTS-V black/white, the CTS-V racing version, Nismo Skyline JGTC, other Supra JGTC, that green/orange RX-8 racing, Lancer Evo VI Gs, Impreza WRX rally, Skyline R34 PD pace car from GT4, BMW M3 E30 evolution, BMW M3 E46, Lambo Diablo VT, and some others.

There were also two TVR Tuscan Speed 6 on sale by some brand I haven't heard of before, but it was in black and I really didn't like the look of it at all, even though it was just 20 canadian. Most of the AUTOart cars were between 60cad and 110cad, too much money for my blood (at least for now). There's still loads of cars by Maisto/HotWheels/Bburago to be had from local Toys R Us's or other big stores like Superstore and Wal-mart. Gotta get that 360 Spider, the Diablo GTR, the F512M, red Viper SRT-10, '70 Mustang Boss 429, '70 Plymouth Hemi Cuda, and a 1/18 F40  first.

I ordered 3 models from Carinabox yesterday. The AutoArt Nissan Skyline R34 Gran Turismo version (Pace car I think, without the lights), a Mercedes McLaren SLR in black, and a VW W12 Nardo Concept in Orange. Overall it came to £85.47 including delivery. I'll put some pics up of them when they arrive if anyone is interested

Yesterday I bought a (I think 1:24 scale) au Cerumo JGTC Supra by Muscle Machines. Those are pretty good good quality and I like it. It's better than those DUB cars with extreme deep dish rims and the slammed look  I'm trying to locate some pics I posted on the other forums. It's really cool and only cost $15 USD. Only bad thing is that I broke the front tow hook :nervous: It was so fragile, the tow hook was connected to the main car by a piece of metal so thin, I slightly brushed it with my finger and it broke. Pics comming up shortly

Nice for 15 bucks 👍 .

I have that violet Diablo as well, it's by Bburago right? I got it as a gift for my b-day I think a long time ago (6 years or so most likely).

I wish I could find some JGTC cars at my local toys 'r us. Oh well, some Ferrari's and a muscle car here and there will do. :dopey:

Definately a steal for $15, lol. Yes, that Diablo is from Bburago, I got it, I think, some 6 years ago, too. I found the Supra at Target, so check there if there is one nearby, check the Hot Wheels section and go deep into the aisle. I found 2 of the Supras right next to each other, except one was scratched and bent, so I took the good one (this one) and hid it behind some DUB cars, lol.

We don't have Target here in canada, at least not in my province. There are however more some more toys 'r us stores than just the one I visited. All the hobby shops either have a few maisto/hotwheels here and there and charge like $50 for them when I can get them for $20 at toys r us or $60-$110cad AUTOart cars or other $50-$60 muscle cars that I don't have the money for right now.
