Man, I need to take some more pics of models. You guys are flooding this place with pretty pictures

Indeed, I even promised a few photos and still didn't take them!

Got a present from my best friend, a 1/18 Porsche RS Spyder Le Mans 2008 LMP2 class winner, full Dutch :D

I got the Brianza Alfas from the auction.
Now just have to find some time to fix them up.
All parts look to be present, and i bought them for a steal.

The small car on the last picture is a 1:43 BBR.

I'm eventually going to tell you fellow scale model collectors about my Bburago Mercedes 300sl. Not sure who makes these, but I have a Rolls Royce and a Ferrari. The Ferrari I think is a 250 GTO. I'm going to wait until I can upload pictures to tell you about them, since I think that providing pictures will describe the cars in a much better way I can.

Until then, awesome, amazing, gorgeous collections, guys. And I thought mine was impressive.

Great stuff HSV:drool: may I ask what scale are the land speed cars?

Picked this up during week on a local auction site, DDA 1/24 Mad Max V8 Intercepter

and grabbed these this morning at my local diecast shop: Biante 1/18 1994 Bathurst winner Johnson/Bowe EB Falcon, CC 1/43 Casey Stoner's 'First Race' VE Series II Commodore, 1/64 Grice/Percy Walkinshaw & Triple 8 2012 COTF

and out of the box:D

I might just have to pick up one of the Stoners, I have been debating.

It's a good looking model mate, limited to 1000 units and not sure if he'll come back after having next year off, I was thinking about grabbing the 1/18 size but found Johnson/Bowe car instead:tup:

Couple more pics of the 1994 Bathurst car:

I found a 1995 Wally Dallenbach #46 First Union Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1:24 scale NASCAR car at a thrift store for just under $5.

This isn't my exact model and is not my photo. My model is simplified and the photo is from southphillydiecast.com.

So I've been looking for custom 1:18 wheels and I've come across this German site: http://www.modellbau-nowak.de

They've got a pretty decent collection of aftermarket and manufacturer stock replicas ranging from 13" up to 21" wheels.

I want to order from this guy, but I can't for the life of me figure out what some of the terminology means (i.e. bed profile, and the 14.6mm/8mm measurements on 19" wheels). I also can't add to cart for some odd reason either, but other than the things not working so far, I thought I'd share it.

There's also this other site in french that not only sells a bunch of wheels, but prefabricated parts for existing models. They have a hardtop cover that you can fit on my 1:18 Bburago Viper SRT/10 for starters. They also have bumpers, bonnets, fuel caps, helmets, inner door panels, intercoolers, other engine parts, naca ducts, seats and even an entire dashboard.

@ AOS- I had no issues selecting a wheel and adding it through the green "in den warenkorb' button. Then selected the grey "weiter einkaufen" button to select something else to add. When I selected 2 items they were added in the cart.
WRT your 19" wheel specs you don't understand - do you have an example? (URL)
I looked at a random 19" wheel but failed to see what you're asking clarification on.

I didn't quite understand which measurements were what and what "bed profile" meant. I got a speedy response from the guy though so I clear on that now.

As for the adding to cart, I'm not sure if it's a browser issue or if it was because google translate was conflicting with the button. I'll figure it out eventually. Thanks for helping though. :)

Curses... BJ's here (our version of Costco) has just about nothing of interest... Wish I picked up the red Carrera GT that they had.

Love that 4.0

LOL

Usually the store doesnt carry anything of interest, but last night i saw the white 4.0 and it totally surprises me.. they also had a bentley convertible...

I tried to look for another 4.0 but didnt see it, so i decided i had to have it...

@$13, it's a steal!

A Costco opened up much closer to home, but thankfully I haven't signed up for AMEX. Otherwise I'd be there every 2 weeks looking through their stack of boxes.

Do they stack all the cars on the palette and leave it there at your store? It always bugged me because unless I start moving a ton of cars around, I can see what's in the middle of the pile. It also doesn't help each box doesn't have a thumbnail of what's in that release of models.

My share for today:

Haha nice! Reminds to still get one of those. And watch the latest season :guilty:

AOS, are you going to modify them all? Good luck with the modding 👍

Got two new Exoto's. One of them in a very bad photo but vacation is next week so got all the time for photos then :D

AOS are going to modify them all.

All of them are getting paint jobs-one of which is exclusively painting. The rest will see decals, lowering, body fabrication and whatever else I had in mind I can't recall right now. :D

Sick Martinis by the way. I'm a softie for the 935. 👍
