I get quite a few of those as well. Pretty good value at $5 each. Although I found some at the local Cracker Barrel for $10...but they have the Gumpert Apollo I can't find anywhere else. :grumpy:
I know how you feel, I can only find the Apollo at the Cracker Barrel as well. I actually bought it with a Porsche 911 GT3 RS at the one I go to. Other than that, I usually buy mine at my local CVS Pharmacy.

I normally get mine at Rite Aid. Sometimes they appear at the local grocery stores as well. I would pick up the Gumpert, but at $10 for a 1/36, I could get a 1/24 scale car at Rite Aid. Did also find RMZ's, like the current STI sedan and M5 F10.

I wasn't aware of RMZ, I'm going to have to now look for them.

1/43 are ridiculously overpriced, but I have some ways of getting them cheap;). I got this not too long ago (will post my actual shelf tomorrow, camera needs charging):

Ottomobile is releasing the E34 M5 again come February 2014, this time in a different color. The first release was in Daytona Violet, this one is now in Avus Blue, and it's going to look like this:

I was very impressed with the Daytona Violet M5, and is one of my favorite models in my collection. They did a really good job on the E34; the proportions sit just right, unlike the E39 that seems just a little off, and in static display, is just a very good looking model. I'm really seriously considering picking up one of these when it comes out to complement the Daytona Violet model.

@Doog, if you're still interested, you may want to get one from an online retailer as soon as it's released.

That #24 Jeff Gordon car you have, @hsv010, I almost got at my local dirt oval. Might get it next race I go to if available.
It's one of the older Action cars, so the roof flaps aren't functional and the window net is plastic, but it's a very nice casting with some very nice details. I paid the princely sum of £2 for it .
Here is my redesigned shelf, some new additions that you might notice in there:

I personally love to collect 1/36 scale die cast since they're not as expensive as the bigger diecast and take up less space. Although, I do on ocassions collect the bigger diecast, you'll see some of those once I finally move into my new house.

Great stuff Wilbur:tup:

Also so many great cars posted by everyone:drool:

My two latest purchases, sorry about the big post:
Hotwheels 1:18 Ghostbusters Ecto-1

IMAG0798.jpg

IMAG0799.jpg

also Classic Carlectables 2013 Lowndes Red Bull VF Commodore
CC have cut their prices by about $50, to do this they've made this a sealed body car so not as nicer detail as the others I have:(

You can see the lack of details in the interior as well

It's a fair trade off but it's going to leave alot of people unhappy. It's why I rarely collect the 1/18th cars because of cost though (did pick up 2 recently for a steal). I do plan to add the blank white Ford Falcon by next race in the states!

Just reading the CC forum and people are not happy at all. Was considering picking up a HRT 1.18 when they finally get around to releasing them because of the price cut but after looking at some pictures of it. I'll probably hold off and get the plain body white VE I've been wanting for ages instead.

Nice Ecto-1 by the way. 👍

Williams F1, McLaren F1, Gulf LMP, Toyota 7, Peugeot 908. I'm assuming the Damon Hill car you posted for close-ups is the same as on the shelf?

EDIT: The Sachs car!

@LMSCorvetteGT2 the company is Carousel 1, very high quality limited edition stuff. It's not exactly cheap ($150-250 each) but they are worth it. I got it for Christmas when I was 6, been on display since then.

@Johnny1996 Yes, that is the same car. Only cost me £15.
