With the addition of the 1:18 GT-Spirit 993 Carrera RS Clubsport, I'm considering my 911 collection complete! For now...

The lot.

Fantastic Collection! I love the 993 Turbo & 996 GT3 RS shown there.

Is that Audi Quattro a 1:18 or 1:24? curious because i see alot of pegs.. but the wheels and other details look great!

It is a 1/24 scale, most of my cars are 1/24. It allows me to have more cars and they tend to be cheaper. I got the Quattro for $15 at the Road Atlanta race.

Nice, i don't see many 1:24 collectors, Only 1:43 and 1:18, 1:24 diecast are massively underrated.

Thanks! The Turbo is actually a Carrera RS. The collection is all NA 911s (Carrera RS/ GT3/ GT3 RS), with the exception of the turbo 993 GT2 (yellow).

Oh, they made a 993 carrera RS? I didn't know that until now.

My latest addition - a Pagani Zonda C12.

Or is it?

image.jpg

The base says it is.

image.jpg

The hood says it is.

image.jpg

The license plate and badge say it's an S.

image.jpg

While the engine shows it with a 7.3L.

Now I'm not up on all my Zonda models but I'm pretty sure there wasn't a C12S7.3. A look around Wikipedia says that the C12 had a 6.0L, the S had a 7.0 and the 7.3 had, shocker, a 7.3.

So what is this? An abomination and I love it because it's so screwed up.

Couple of SLS pics, I'll post more when I get to use my camera.

👍 Nice! Will be good to see more images. :D I plan on getting one of these when I break my spree of absolute stingy money holding. Still trying to decide whether I want the Coupe or Roadster. How much money did you pay?

Thanks! I hadn't gotten a model in many months and I have to say it was worth it, very good quality at about 3/4 of the price I would have paid for it. I got it at eBay for about 80 shipped to PR. It has a very small defect but it is a manufacturing defect, very small like I said and the model was BNIB so I couldn't be happier. I'd get the coupe one just for the doors.

The D-Type and the Quattro

My two favorite cars. Of all time.

Oh my  Well done!! A 959 wouldn't fit in.... or does it?

Came across a 1:24 Maisto All Stars Lamborghini Aventador in a very pretty red at Toys R Us. Unfortunately the wheels were...overly chrome. And at $16.99, didn't seem worth it.

Thinking of expanding my collection and a 959 could very well fit in! Collection started out as RS models only, but turned into normally aspirated track 911s with the GT3s. Then the GT2 kinda came in... and now it's just a 911 collection. :)

Apparently there is one in matte black, but it has the same chrome rims. That may be a dealbreaker for me.

Buy all 911's!

Any idea what you want next? Going with the 911 theme of race spec street cars or something? I tried to stick to a theme but didn't work... I almost like everything with Porsche on it, especially with a story behind it. Got me some new things too this weekend :D A Mercedes bus with PORSCHE on the side, with a trailer behind it with the Porsche typ 64 on it. Also a new Minichamps Porsche collectors item, 4x Martini Porsche (911, 935, 917 and 936). Must make some new photos soon!

Nice Honda BTCC there holden! I love BTCC, wish it was still like in the old days... The Mondeo V6 is one of the nicest sounding cars of the old BTCC era if you ask me :D

edit;
Was checking eBay and came by this seller: http://www.ebay.com/usr/d6.diecast
He has some nice 1/43s, some rarer than the other. I found this pretty interesting for myself; 901, awesome vintage Jagermeister bus and this very neat 993 GT2 Evo... Going to follow them and see for how much they go, or try to get them myself... Not sure :D
