Damnit venom, i'm gonna buy you a shelf Christmas :)
You are gonna need to buy me a lot of shelves then, cause I have somewhere north of 150 1/18 models and over 100 1/43 models. Though, most of my 1/43 models are in cases already...
:sly:
Also plotting my next purchase, which will most likely be 1/18....

Ah yes, I forgot to show these when I bought them. Better late than never, of course:

So, what do you think of this Italian duo? :D

screw that, make your own shelves... or library, i'd love to see your full collection :)

Have you nabbed any ignition models lately?

Got a couple Ignition models pre-ordered right now, on of which should be shipping within the next week or two. Probably will get more sometime.

I discovered Spark and Minichamps make Delahayes, Delages, Talbot Lagos, and other arte decó-era cars. I fear a wallet meltdown incoming. Help?

You should check out CMC models also.

Do any of you guys know if there are scale models available of 73-87 GMC pickups?

This is the only thing that I found that is even remotely similar. Sorry, it doesn't look like that generation of pickup trucks have really been made into a model

I have a few 1/43 models. I very rarely pick new ones up as it's sort of a side hobby of mine. Might as well share the notable ones I have though.

This is actually the most recent purchase of mine. The box it came in was damaged so I got it for a pretty good discount. (Minichamps Petit Le Mans M3 GTR)

That makes it a nice display piece with this Kyosho M3 GTR.

I picked this HPI Porsche 956 at the Porsche museum in Stuttgart. Probably one of the rare museums where they don't have ridiculously overpriced merchandise. The model actually doesn't have any 'Rothmans' decals on it because of... reasons I guess. So I got some decals off ebay which aren't perfect, but they get the job done. Annoyingly there wasn't a big enough decal for the rear spoiler. :indiff: Still a really nice model though.

And this is actually my first 'real' (non-cheap) 1/43 car. I'm fairly sure I picked this up in BMW Welt in Munich.

Apologies for double post

Since my last few models I ordered have yet to ship, I shall post a random pic of the day:

I came very close to ordering this after Daniel Simon posted it on his Twitter.

Found it for £110 on ebay compared to 160 and regret not buying it.

I had bought it right when it came out (had pre-ordered it). Still one of my favorite models. I need to add that other Lotus TSM recently released, IIRC it was a Lotus 78.

I can see why, the details are incredible for the price.

And I did see the 78 but the bright orange didn't appeal as much as gold.

The bright orange Lotus was actually a 1968 56, though not the 56B like the F1 car I posted. The original 56 was a Indy 500 special, which nearly won. After the 56 nearly won the Indy 500, turbine engines were banned from Indy lol
This is the Lotus I was talking about: http://www.tsm-models.com/tsm/store/product/240
