I am astonished that these picture do not currently have a trillion likes by now. I thought people valued car porn such as this, what a gorgeous car... There are many reasons why I love the Miura so much, and this one sure proves all of them. It's a car that looks good in any environment.

Pic flood incoming!

Picture duuuuuuuuummp! :dopey:

Joke aside, those are also fantastic. The LaFerrari is nice and all, but that Alfa 33 takes the whole cake. I know, from cars such as this one, why are AutoARTs so goddamm expensive... What an amazing car, it also helps that it is gorgeously designed.

Picked it up from the post office yesterday. It was in a state nowhere near described on Ebay. It was being listed as in excellent condition, but it was in horrible condition. There were scratches all over it, it was very very dirty. The whites of the car were brownish, that's how dirty it was. I cleaned it yesterday, and it looks amazing now. I'm so happy to finally have a '99 TS020! I still have to attach the left mirror, but it seems my Loctite Superstrong "sticks in seconds" glue isn't doing such a great job. Spent 30 minutes trying to get it to stick, but it won't. If you guys know any other great products that are strong and dry very fast, let me know!

Brought out the '98 TS020 for a little family shoot. And naturally, when you bring out your TS020, you HAVE to bring the BMW V12 LMR to the party as well! If only I could find a #35 '98 Mercedes CLK-LM...

That car was also most as bad as the Z4 GTE when it came to le mans rules.

Congrats on finding your TS020.

Any CA glue should work but perhaps you need some bluetack to support it.

When I break a mirror off by accident or one is broken in box, I usually reinforce it with some wire by drilling a hole in the mirror stalk and into the base of where the mirror mounts to the car. To drill such a small hold I usually use either a really small drill bit or a piece of wire cut in such a way to make a cutting edge, either of which I stick in my Dremel. After that, then I glue it back together. Not only does it make it stronger, it also allows it to stay in place while the glue hardens.

That's a good looking model

Anyone know what AUTOart means by 'Temporarily out of Stock' on their website? Does it actually mean never coming back? I hate when people use phrases like that.

Good news, the Porsche that I showed in this post has a Rothmans decal on the rear wing now too and it's all thanks to @cbarbosa for being nice enough to send me a spare.

Interestingly enough it is a tiny bit too large, just like the other ones I had. I'm starting to believe that the model might be a little bit smaller than 1:43 as these were decals from two seperate companies.
I'm not fussed though. Still better than nothing!

Looking goood....

👍

A very nice set of Ferraris indeed, that GT2 might just be the best of them all. I didn't knew about GT Spirit before, but that Porsche has made me curious about knowing more cars from them. The Aero Kit complements the white 911 quite nicely.

In case you didn't know, GT Spirit models are resin with no opening parts. They are very affordable at around $100.

Pity about the "no opening parts" bit, but hey, it's affordable enough for a resin car. I'd say it's a fair tradeoff. I'm sure it'll be hard to find any similar car on the same price range that isn't a GT Spirit model...

I have a couple of GT Spirit models myself and I've been really impressed by their quality. In my experience, the car proportions and details have all been very well executed, and I've never had any flaws or issues, unlike numerous Ottomobile models that I've had.

I have yet to get a GT Spirit model myself, but I do plan on adding a few to my collection sometime. I did just add another Spark LM racer and an AUTOart supercar though, along with a pair of JDM models shipping from Japan that I had pre-ordered. Pics of all of them when they arrive :P
