They were effectively a Fiat 125p with a new body. Renowned for having no real redeeming features, with its only plus point being its low cost.

Oh. Guess that answers my question. Man, old Fiats sure were used far past they ending date, weren't they? That car reminds me of the Innocenti Elba; an Italian station wagon built for the Brazilian market, based on a Fiat Uno of all things...

I've been searching for several Polonez models on ebay, I think I could have a collection going soon.

Uh-oh, that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen... Jokes aside, why not, go for it. Remember to share a few of those here if possible, variety is the spice of life after all.

I bought a "M2" branded Dodge Challenger T/A. I know that M2's build quality isn't the best, but I honestly don't care as I don't intend to open the box.

So, I finally got an enclosed display case....
(Excuse the crappy phone pic)

Empty slots are for my AUTOart EB110 that should be here today and a AA Gallardo LP560 that will probably be here in a week or two.
Also got an identical case on order, which I will fill with my LM cars. I plan on adding at least several more of these cases over the coming months.
You basterd!, I'm still rocking this..lol

until i get my case :/

If only pic dumps could look as cool as that, I'd be okay with them... The EB110 is amazing, and the Mazda is pretty unique, I had never heard of it as well, and it looks pretty good.

The MXR-01 was a short lived successor to the 787B after the FIA mandated F1 derived 3.5L V10's for Group C. Did OK considering Mazda knew next to nothing about the platform (the TWR designed Jaguar XJR-14), on top of not having a huge budget. Used a Judd V10. There is also a Renown liveried car with a massive biplane rear wing. Whenever Spark releases that one I will get it as well.

Very nice @Venom800tt Love the ignition models, i plan on buying the midnight purple R34 Z tune to complement my tamiya z tune and 1:43 kyosho Z tune, have developed quite a thing for the z tune..

now, it's a choice between AA and ignition, and i'm leaning towards AA since it's an open model, but the Ignition seems to be spot on to the real car, while the AA is slightly off, mostly because it's an older casting that AA didn't bother to update like the regular Vspec models.

Well, the AA only comes in Bayside Blue, Titanium Silver, Millennium Jade, and Black. The Ignition came in I think all of those colors, plus Midnight Purple. But, the Ignition, while nicer, is more expensive and a lot harder to find. The HPI 1/43 one, which is also rare, is damn near the same price on ebay as the AA 1/18 Z-Tune <___<

i found a 1:18 HPI z tune for 238$, that seems like a good price, though the AA is much cheaper at 147$...with free shipping.

That isn't TOO bad, I'd consider it if I didn't already have my Bayside Blue AA. I really wish HPI stayed in the diecast/resin business, they made some damn fine models. It seems Ignition only obtained HPI's Japanese car tooling and not any of the Euro stuff...

Well.. you know me lol, you know i'm pro japanese... but recently started getting into euro(mainly 1:18). As for HPI, it is a shame, iv'e only ever had one HPI model, a Castrol Mugen accord JTC, which is boxed up somewhere, iv'e heard they doubled in value!

Heh, my collection is mostly Euro focused, with a strange bias to Porsche :sly:
I do have a large number of both US and Japanese cars though, so it is at least somewhat balanced

I bet you're happy when seeing this then:

Yep, already saw it lol. Been thinking about pre-ordering it, but I have no idea when it is coming out. I also hope they do the white and blue version of the MXR-01. Speaking of the white and blue Mazda scheme, I am regretting not getting the AA 787B in that scheme. I made the mistake of thinking one 787B was enough, when it clearly isn't :sly:
