Two Greenlight 1:43 Fast and Furious cars and one Jada 1:24 Corvette.
I have the Escort, and I've been wanting to unscrew the darn thing off the base. Unfortunately, Greenlight screwed me with the triangular pattern screw. :(

The Eclipse has a Phillips screw. I actually had to take the car out of the case and unscrew the base of the car from the body so I could remove a random extra steering wheel from inside the car. The Escort I thought had Phillips, but I guess I'm wrong.

Had I known about the phillips & extra steering wheel, I'd have bought the Eclipse. j/k Not to mention the danger to manifold sensor, which wasn't even invented when the MkI Escorts were being sold.

I have 2 questions....

The Apple Porsche, who makes the best 1/43's in them (1/18's too if price is right). and anyone know how many different ones were made?

There is no Falken Tire Porsche outside the #4 correct?

I'm looking to sell most of my 1/24 scale cars on Ebay, I haven't put up any price or items yet, but I was wondering what would be the best way to sell them and in what form. There about 20-25 models but I'm still figuring out which ones I will sell. (Subject to Change) NONE OF THESE ARE IN THEIR ORINGAL PACKAGING!!

Took some day time pics of it :)

You really should take more care of your models - this one is screaming "please wash me." ;)

OFFTOPIC!
what would be the best way to sell them and in what form.
I've yet to sell a single model but if I did, I would sell them separately to get the best price. You need to work out for yourself what your are willing to accept as an offer on each car. Don't know if you can set a reserve on eBay. Try with one or two cars, see what the market does, change strategy accordingly.

^Dirty race cars are awesome.

Also. Tree'd my attempt at the 10000th post here. I waited all my life for that moment. :grumpy:

AMG? Please take all of my money and give it to charity, because sweet jumping Jesus that Aston is mind-boggling. And that's not in a bad way, mind you. Can Aston Martin diecasts get any better? After that? Also, I'm reporting you for porn, because those pictures fit into that category...

Also, is there a picture of the interior, just to see how it looks?

Glad you like it.

Reporting me to staff may backfire on you (j/k) - they know I never break the rules AND I'm ex staff so I have a little more leeway ;)

This is the best I can do, once it's finished I may be able to fill your request.

Heh, not that I was going to report you anyway, after all you are doing a great service to all of us for posting such great diecasts. Why would I try to harm someone with such noble notions? ;)

Also wow, never saw what these cars looked like in pieces, it's like a jigsaw puzzle. I do hope that was somewhat easy to put together... (I know it probably wasn't that way)

So, I finally got an enclosed display case....
(Excuse the crappy phone pic)

Empty slots are for my AUTOart EB110 that should be here today and a AA Gallardo LP560 that will probably be here in a week or two.
Also got an identical case on order, which I will fill with my LM cars. I plan on adding at least several more of these cases over the coming months.

Now that's a rare car to be modeled, to say the least. FSO Polonez, correct? What's the story behind that one?
This is going to take some explaining...

I thought I needed a new mascot for my shelf... I wanted to get the most tragic car possible.

Well, look what showed up...

Still got 4 more models in various states of transit to my collection...

Oh look, a beautiful Bugatti EB110 by Autoart, and a super rare Mazda Le Mans prototype racer by Spark. Damm son, those two are already amazing, what will the others be? 👍

Well, that's wasn't a long explanation. But I get it, you wanted a rare (and bad, apparently) car that you felt could be your personal mascot. Therefore, the FSO found its way into your collection. Never seen one of those, what does make that car "tragic"?
