that had to be worth just enough to put Enron out of business

 Wow.
That's all I can say.
Well, that and "How Much??" Before it just looked like another porsche, but this thing looks really cool.
I'll have to look into getting one of those. That, and a Miura. But the AA 1968 Bullitt Mustang comes first.

i knew they were rare but i never expected any1 to be prepared to pay that much for one!

meanwhile the other few i mentioned (white* and black* porsche gt1 roadcar and mc f1 gtr longtail)*(not ended yet)
went for ÂŁ26*, ÂŁ45*, and ÂŁ35 *so far
I saw an orange F1 that went for ÂŁ35 on eBay. Shame I was short on cash...

I got my kickass MC12 on the way!
Thanks Hotwheels!
How in the hell did you get a MC12 from of all makers, hot wheels?!

Ferrari of Dallas sells Hotwheels Ferrari models, and they happen to be getting an MC12 model in, so I ordered one for about $40, $8-$9 cheaper than at the State Fair.

well I'm gonna get that. is the road going car the only one available?
speaking of maserati and ferrari, does hot wheels make any 1:18 Ferrari 333 SPs?

Hell yeah they do!

But they're becoming very expensive to get.
There is a planned MC12 Race Car expected at the end of the year. Rumors are that UT Models may be making it along with ScaleCars.com selling it.

Well I bought 2 more cars today cause me and my dad felt like it (lol). Here they are.

Only difference is my SL55 AMG is in silver, not black. Still a pretty damn nice car IMO. Went to local hobby shop, they had some nice AUTOart cars there, like Corvette C5R (ALMS), a Calsonic Skyline R34 JGTC, some other Skyline JGTC, that RX-8 Renesis, loads of Cadillac CTS-V race version, and there were a few road cars like Evo8, Impreza WRX STi, BMW M3 E46, Skyline R34, Skyline GT4 edition, and a Mustang SVT Cobra (bleh  ). They had some more expensive ones too (the Millenium edition stuff), like Lamborghini Miura, and some BMW M3's older race cars, and some other ones. There was $275cad Mercedes SLR McLaren by CMC as well, it had a full around box so I couldn't see what it looked like đź‘Ž . Oh yea, there was also an F1 Ferrari F2003 (I think) MS winning car edition with MS standing up in it also by Hot Wheels, maybe I'll get that from the other hobby shop some other time...

I also checked out the slot car section. It was pretty cool. There was a nice scalextrix set (9.30m long) with F1 cars, a Renault 2005 and a Williams 2005. It was $300cad, but it looked pretty damn sweet. There was also a 8.30m long Carrera set with Porsche 935 racecar and another older 911 Turbo racecar (I think, not sure), and that was $200cad on sale, it looked pretty sweet too....

Do you mean Hotwheels? It can't be UT because they ceased to exist since 2000. :sly:

Congrats on the new additions MustangSVT. đź‘Ť

You mean the local store don't have a CMC SLR on display? Where abouts are you located in Canada?
Here's a picture of my CMC SLR. It's a real gem. :D

I'm from Calgary in Alberta.

BTW, nice car... .

Now that I've bought my first "more expensive car" (the McLaren Formula 1), I'm not gonna add so many things to my list anymore. Here's a quick glance at some realistic future purchases (throughout the next 6 months or so).

Dodge Viper SRT-10 by Hot Wheels
Nissan Skyline R34 GT4 Edition by AUTOart
Fernando Alonso Renault F1-2005 by Hot Wheels (coming soon to my hobby shop I think)
Michael Schumacher Ferrari F1-2003 (or 2004) by Hot Wheels (#1 car :sly: )

I can't seem to find the 99 Toyota GT-ONEs. I keep running into the 98 cars.

I don't know then. I've heard UT Models, I've heard Hotwheels, I've even heard AutoART might consider doing it.

I extended my Ferrari collection today with one by ordering an F430 (by Hotwheels maybe, not quite sure). Next up in my list is to get a 565GTC... Or a 360 Challenge Stradale. Both are awesome. When I get the F430 (propably tomorrow), I'll give you guys some pics of my Ferraris.

wOOt!! this is my most successful thread ever and the only one ever to reach 1000 posts! happy anniversary!! *hugs thread* lol

anyway back on topic i just discovered something which looks so uber-rare its quite hard to imagine! i didnt even know this model existed! for a start its made by ut, and as you know the porsche gt2 streetcar is one of the rarest and hardest to come by. well theres a better version! take a look at this... http://www.diecast.org/diecast98/html/asp/list_reviews/xq/ASP/id.UT27830/qx/reviewpix.htm

No not drift car.

The place i got it from also had:
Toyota Supra (red)
Mitsubushi Evo (silver)
Toyota MR2 (red)
And they had a jadatoys "euro" BMW M3 in black for ÂŁ30 (standard uk price) which looked really nice, but 30 for that is really steep as you cant even change bits on it.

Bought that long ago, just need to find it and my earlier pics. Excellent model.

I just picked this up today along with a Ferrari F430 Coupe and the Maserati MC12. I'll take some pictures of the other 2 soon.
