In Chrome all the pics show up fine for me. Although I honestly think 800x600 is... a rather outdated size format, especially with modern HD displays. I understand it was done to improve page loading times, but still, it bugs me...

It's mostly for broadband, so people don't overload pages (Ive seen many complaints about it) With them and make it impossible to load in A day.

The package has arrrived, some teasers:

Better pics will follow

You're almost there but guess again :P

And the 2nd one is actually more expensive, so they're this year's easter, birthday and christmas presents for me.

"Looks at suspension part, which has the letter R"

You son of a gun, Ferraridriver... That's a Zonda R, isn't? Curse you indeed, that's even better than a normal Zonda.

Also, @AMG.? Lovely Mercedes 190 Evo 2, that looks amazing. I cannot find anything about that model that I do not like, it's almost flawless. 👍

Either the Italian stripe or the Evo

Either way...

More than a Zonda R...

The only thing that springs to my mind that is not a Huayra is... the Zonda Revolucion!? Motherflopper, if that is the case, I'll flip.

Or what legacyMACHINE said above, which is equally flipping awesome.

It is in fact the Zonda Revolucion:

Not my pic btw

I wanted to get the red and gold one like the one I saw at Bologna last year:IMAG2523.jpg
But they didn't have that one.

And now for the other car :D

Ok, first of all, allow me to tell you:

Now, excuse me while I try my hardest to not faint in amazement. Also, you saw a real Zonda Revolucion? That would earn you a double "Curse you to hell!". Congratulations, you lucky Italian man. 👍

As for the other car, I'll just throw a random old Alfa Romeo name in there, maybe I'll nail that guess too.

Alfa Romeo 6C, perhaps?

Almost, it's actually an 8C 2900 B made by CMC:

Now I want an F93A 1:18 but looks like the only one ever made was by Minichamps and to be honest, these are quite overpriced IMO.
The other choice was an Hot Wheels Elite 312 T2, it looks nice and the price/quality is balanced...
I don't want to throw away 300€ for a CMC 312P Berlinetta
Alternatively, not Ferrari this time...or a Lancia 037, the Delta or the HPi Alfa 155 V6 Ti
Probably going for the 312 T2

1:18 AutoArt - Mercedes Benz 190

Very nice model. I've got mine sitting out on display next to an E30 M3 and both are super dusty. Thanks for the reminder of how good the model is (except for the crooked hood tri-star on mine :grumpy:), especially when clean.

On the other, a beautifully adorned classic, 1950's Alfa Romeo. You defintely deserve a double 👍 for that, that 8C looks very unique indeed.

That would be a 1930s Alfa Romeo. ;)

Well, guess not all of us can keep our models as clean as AMGs, his look brand new. But hey, you have paired your 190 with another great car, and that's good. 👍

That would be a 1930s Alfa Romeo. ;)

Thanks for clarifying that one, it shows that my old Alfa Romeo knowledge is rather rusty... I need to hit the car history books.

Also, I've seen a few pictures of its scale model, and without spoiling much, it looks incredible. Museum-worthy incredible, in fact.

Heh, I have the original release of the AA 190E Evo II. Yes, the infamous "Merceds-Benz" powered one :sly:

I have an AA E30 M3, but it is the Sport Cecotto edition rather than the Sport Evo. Might get a Sport Evo sometime if I can find one after some other high priority models...

Also, some TWR:

Will take more pics tomorrow.

After collecting 95 1:18 scale models I've decided to stop buying them. I'm going to ask for 5 more for Birthday or Christmas presents, and that will complete the collection at 100. It's time to be spending money on more important things, I've decided.

Pity about the potato camera, but that won't harm the quality of all three cars. Hard to pick a favourite from the three, so all get the trophy for "Car Of The Post". The Zonda Revolucion is tremendous, despite the colours not being the black and red of the one seen in Pagani's webpage. The Lancia is equally amazing, and the Alfa is unique, beautiful and tremendously well detailed. CMC did quite the job with such a classic car...

You must be really happy with all three cars, and the icing on the cake is that all cars are Italian. A reason to be proud of your car industry, huh? :D

Yes, I thought to order another model instead of the Pagani. Then I saw it and I was like :mischievous::drool::drool:
And having 3 Italian cars spanning more than 70 years makes me really proud to be Italian.:)(One of the few things we can still brag about)

Maybe one day you'll feel like that again and get the actual Autoart Zonda R, I've read that it is as amazing as the Revolucion. :sly:
Hey, at least you have actual cars from your country to brag about. Portugal doesn't have a car brand of its own, haha. Those three Italian cars are the greatest examples of all bases; racing, road and mixed class cars. 70 years may have passed, but the Italian flair is still there. 👍

Suddenly, Lancia:

1985 Spa 1000 km winning Lancia LC2 Group C prototpe. Brings my 1/18 Lancia total up to... 4 lol

Are we on a Italian car spree or what? That Lancia is gorgeous, I cannot find any fault with it. Maybe the fact that it must cost a trillion dollars/euros, but still, it's amazing. Great purchase.👍

Love your group C collection, this one is superb, one of the most beautiful car ever
Thanks :)
I had to get this one after I saw the first pics of it, one of the sexiest Group C cars of the 80's IMO.

It was "only" a bit over $200 USD :sly:
But yeah, I am uber happy with it. Might post some new pics of it tonight, otherwise it will probably be a week before I can post pics.
