Where from??

Marker scribbles = 400% appreciation in value. What a time to be alive.

It's a real shame Spark doesn't turn some of their 1:43s into 1:18s.

I'm not that attached to material.

But still, give it some marker scribbles and you got more wallets opening to you :P

dont think i would have enough space to take pics of all of mine!
After counting all of my GT cars, both liveried and un-liveried, I probably would need to use the living room floor or my bed to take a pic of them all, don't think all of them will fit on my dining room table lol
34 1/18 cars at last count, with probably a similar amount in 1/43.

It's a tinplate/plastic clockwork Tyrrell made by Schuco, dating from 1971. The detail is exquisite - fully working suspension with scaled arms/linkages/hubs, rack & pinion steering, scaled driveshafts, and the diff casing is split into two so you can see it work - all driven by a huge flywheel. They really don't make toys like they used to.

Well consider me properly impressed then, it's more than just a diecast scale model from the '70s with minimal detail and an accurate but basic livery. It's clear that such a casting would be rather costly these days, so the lack of more models like that may be more understandable. Just the fact that Schuco allowed owners to take their cars apart to see their level of detail shows just how much time was spent in making said cars...

Actually, I'm more interested in the Tenoras Nissan and the #82 Courage than in the BRE. Not that I hate the BRE mind you, but I suspect Ignition's detail combined with a 1/18 size will mean that it puts quite a burden on the wallet...

I really need to take some better pics of this thing...

Well that picture is a nice start, if I do say so myself. Or maybe it's the Ford GT speaking... :sly:

Also, I wasn't aware you had action figures too alongside your Gundams? I can tell there's an Estelle in there somewhere, but who are the other guys and gals?

The accuracy of the scaling is what will make/break the diorama.

I see people fudge up the presentation by bringing in trees, people and buildings of a smaller scale than the car. The material texture should be considered too.

I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Coincidentally, I just finished processing some photos that that took place on a diorama:

I still need to get hold of a light source that matches daylight white better.

Lol, thanks. Yes, there is an Estelle from Tales of Vesperia. All the other figures are also from various Tales games, gonna take a pic of them sometime soon.
