We need some goooooood pictures of that one BTW. 👍👍👍

Could you show us some good close-ups? We want to see how much attention was paid to details!

tell me that is 1:18...
Picture taken on stove top. No stove top could be that tiny if that was 1:43.

And these two 1/18's showed up...

Also because there are little to no photos on the web. THANKS!

If I ever get to it, I may just mod my Viper to be a GTS-R of a custom livery.

Oh good lord, I'd never thought there would be a model of that one...

Please, lord, tell me that is 1:18...

I'll get some pics up when I get home. And yes, it's 1:18.

Edit with a few pictures.

Bought that on boxing day sale. With another discount I had, I got 50% off. Where do you usually shop?
Various sites, mostly US based. Most have the R33 LM for around $200-215 USD. CK Models and Modelissimo are about the only two non-US places I shop from. Unless you count American Excellence, which is the US branch of Model Car World out of Germany.

Recently I've been shopping at Canadian tomotorsports, simply because of the membership discounts, wich you usually can ad to other discounts.

Tomotorsports is a good place for international customers because the CAD is still crappy. I encourage more international shoppers to keep shopping there (so that it will contribute to upping the CAD, making my life better because most models of interest can't be found domestically).

I've mentioned to a few people at work that I'm building this. Most have said "how much is that going to cost" and one just went "🤬 cool". So guess which one I'm listening to :P

Recently took pics of this. This was, along with the Murcielago I previously posted here, bought at Hung Hing Toys at the same price as the Murcielago (~19 USD). Unlike the Murcielago, this was more of an impulse purchase, but till now I still don't regret buying it. I believe I did not buy it because I liked the car, but rather because it was a Ferrari, which was only available from Hot Wheels Elite.

Again, the quality is fine. The following sums up my comments on the car:

What impresses me:
  • again, their abundant use of metal transfers
  • their decision to depict the windshield wipers with photo-etched parts instead of using a generic molded one
  • the presence of seatbelts and buckles
  • the detailed interior
  • their decision to reproduce the exhaust and underbody, albeit only a very rough reproduction
What disappoints me:
  • the lack of brake discs and calipers
  • their decision to paint the side air intakes black instead of using a mesh or something like that
  • their inaccurate depiction of the wheel nuts
Here are the pics:

A pic of the interior:

(Sorry for the terrible quality, both my phone and my DSLR can't focus on it properly.)

Some Spark 911 Targa 4S, limited to 500.

Both come with acrylic display cover, and can be found on CK.

Sometimes the reason is because you're trying to focus on something too close to the camera.

The last two with the light painting is pretty cool though.

edit: Looks like we're going to see more CSLs by Minichamps now.

Also found out Make Up is doing another round of RB FDs, but with smaller 6-spoke wheels:

Yeah, I know. It seems that the lenses on both my phone and my DSLR aren't designed to shoot things at such a close distance. Maybe I'll need another lens for that.

Thanks for the compliment BTW.
