So I contacted the Audi dealer and asked if there are new scale models, since the Porsche dealer didn't have anything new at all.

Then the salesman told me that they have the R8 in Ara Blue.

And so I purchased it, since I believe that blue fits best on an R8.

Yeah I passed on it too over time. The wheels caught my attention, but it also detracted it afterwards.

Since this is the early version of the Blackbird, it should have gold mesh rims as seen in anime, manga, and even in the WMMT games.

Then one day, this popped up in AUTOart's releases

Gold mesh? In that case, I'm definitely not interested anymore!

Kyosho is a distributor of most 1:18 brands in Japan, and they paid Otto for the Asian exclusive editions, similar to CK's GTS webshop editions.

Hot damn. Where would you loosely place One Model on the tier list of brands? Who does it sit above and below on it?

Definitely way better than the low tier brands like GTS, Topspeed and Otto. I would rank it slightly better than HPI/Ignition Model. It's a shame that they only do Honda and Mitsubishi in 1/18.

Good to know there is an IG competitor. They may expand out to other makes in time. They do offer stuff other resin brands dont make as much of, so there is a good chance they'll continue to take advantage of this opportunity.

I'm still waiting to see a '70 Celica in 1/18.

Oh.

Yea it's always good to see more competitions, I would love to see a 3000GT/GTO from any of them, that is one car which I would pay top dollar for, even though I have zero Mitsubishi models in my collection.

Some more future IGs I found on Boost Gear:

Want to see more photos of those wheels.

Probably not a photo of their model, but it is at least a different paint finish than Make Up's. Also sad to see that front splitter isn't there.

It's a BBR Ferrari 488 LM

I only see this 488 for preorders. A very similar looking 458 GT2/3 (i don't know who's right or wrong after looking several places) looks pretty good as well, but this 488 is quite solid in a colourful livery. TBH I kinda want one.

Yeah the star wheels are pretty cool looking on this.

Oh Im also keeping count on the Porsches you "aren't going to buy more of". :P
