Picked up one of these for a decent price on eBay, not really feeling it now that it's arrived, probably gonna sell if off.

Oh but the HPI's model would/could change your mind, but it's too late for that meow.

Legend has it no owner of the HPI model is the most prestigious and accurate replica of the F1 LT.

But it's too late for that meow.

edit: Oh snap there are pics of those RB FDs by Make Up:

Caught our fancy has it? I did want the yellow back then, and I'd probably say I'd take that over the black still. What's very surprisingly is that the green was the faster seller.

Picked up this blue Minichamps 991 GT3 from CK to replace the yellow one I already have (PM me if you want it!), since I have too many yellow models to begin with and I personally like the blue better anyways.

A Cossie, huh...? Now that's something you don't usually see around these parts, good points for variety to you on that choice. 👍

Which brand made that scale model?

Beautiful. What scale and brand?

Minichamps 1:43. Got it for cheap because the rear end of the chassis was detached. So when I got home I immediately fixed it. The chassis is bolted on with only one screw. It was an easy job of just taking it out and putting it back again with the rear part going in first. The door card was also removed but taken care of by a super glue.

Well, it doesn't look too bad for something with that kind of damage, really, good job with the fixing. At least that ever-so-wonderful rear wing was in its rightful place when you bought the car... That would be an even bigger headache to deal with.

I'm tempted to get the Martini one by Otto, but I'm still holding off at this time.

Well it IS an Otto model, so it's bound to be a hefty investment if you go for it. Not quite AA-levels of investment, but still pretty costly...

Then again, it's also a racing Escort Cossie...

What's nice to know about Ottos is that they aren't that expensive in this hobby circle. The one I found was around $100 CAD, and I wouldn't argue against that price at all! It's just that I need to keep myself in check by considering storage space for any models I really want a few years down the road. We'll see if it ends up coming home. It just seems weird to sell off 2 rally cars only to bring home more again.

Well I didn't argue too much with Otto's price to be honest, for the variety and quality values they offer they can be really alluring. And when it comes to European cars, they really grab some of the most unique ones. If I wanted a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus and/or even a Renault Vel Satis, Otto can satisfy my needs without murdering my wallet. Just the fact that they have not one but two Citröen Visa scale models is worthy of my attention...

Obviously, space can also be considered as my reason why I haven't purchased many big-sized scale models as of late. That and the price in some cases, of course.

Asia-exclusive Otto Nismo 400R. Here's one for you if you aren't into yellow cars for some weird reason :P

Unusual livery, that's for sure. Reminds me of that pig-inspired 917 I've seen in magazines before... Although this Porsche is more fashion-oriented.

Indeed. It's quite normal for Japanese companies to cash in racing even if it isn't related to them at all.

I do want to see a Louis Vuitton livery on a race car though.

Well, the Ueno Clinic Mclaren F1 is a fantastic example of that. It's a good thing the cars ran so well, otherwise the sponsorship deals would become flops in a heartbeat...

Also, that idea is probably more likely to happen than we think, haha. It's bound to happen in Europe first, though...

Perhaps a GT3 race car?

But it will be hilarious if a serious LMP1 team like Porsche or Toyota decide to don the Louis Vuitton bag pattern.

Something like a Huracan or a Bentley would certainly be on the top of their choice list, definitely.

Although a purse-themed 919 Hybrid doesn't sound that farfetched...

I found something interesting on ebay which looks too good to be true. If I don't get the item will ebay give me my money back? This seller has a 97.5% rating with 752 stars. Let me know if this is a scam. I'm a 1/43 collector but wouldn't mind a 1/18 for this price.

Something seems fishy with that seller and some of the negative feedback isn't promising either. They're also selling a Kyosho M3 GTS for $19.99 + free shipping. No way, that can't be right.

I suppose. I'm eyeing the TSM 1/18 McLaren F1, it's $20 for a model that's usually in the hundreds of dollars. Legitimate or not, I'm curious to see what I get in the mail for $20.

Yeah I feel the same, thinking I might give it a try and see what happens...

Speaking from personal experiences, eBay will send you the refund, they are always on buyer's side so you have nothing to worry about.
