Top Marques posted a "first deco sample"

I don't see no "deco", but they are very diligent on the defense with negative comments about those wheels right now

Wheels aside, the body panels look great so far. They need to work on their lighting because this looks like a really expensive plastic toy right now.

edit: Found them new IG protoytypes:

Have been away for a while because I've been studying. Recently finished a difficult exam so I wanted to treat myself. Today I bought my first AA 1/18 with a display case. Also got 2 1/43s and my 1st 1/64, I bought these over the time I was away.

I bought all the current models I own to keep myself motivated and to push myself harder.

I saved the best for the last. Now I know why you guys lust over 1/18s...

Yeah, my pics are always horrible.

Some updates here!
I will soon start a facebook /instagram page with my models and hopefully my creations:
I've started buiyng some kits, 1:72 fighter jets and H0 (1:87) buildings to cover most of the tastes in terms of scale modeling.
It will feature some curiosities and descriptions of the real model in both italian and english, so hopefully I can get better international coverage.
It's pretty much all WIP but I should update you guys soon...

It'll be awesome to see your collection. Wish you all the best :)[/QUOTE]
Thank you!
It's a big collaboration project with some friends and modelers so you'll probably se some pieces from other collections, but most of the content will be from my personal "garage", I'm pretty excited to start ;)

I'd be all over the blue AMG GT if it weren't for the solid grills in the front... but that leads me to wonder how difficult it would be to cut that out and install my own mesh in there.

Judging from the picture above, the emblem piece has enough depth to justify cutting it out, but whether I'd want to commit to such a task is a whole other story.

That solid grill bugs me as well. The funny thing is they did put real meshes on the bottom half of the bumper.(ironsim posted his on DX) well despite the weaknesses I think I will grab the red one once it pops up on CK, the design kinda grows on me.

I'm going to cave on this and buy it anyway. The blue one that is; the red one is ugly (sorry).

Upon seeing more pictures, it appears the primary grill is a deep concave surface so it's not too too bad. At least it tucks itself away making it harder to notice.

The same could not be said about an SL65 Black Series by Minichamps. A single tear runs down my cheek having to endure such sadness. Really wished it had some kind of mesh.

In any case, I have to reconsider my anti-bandwagoning opinion about Autoart models:

See if all Autoart models were made to this caliber, I could most certainly acknowledge and accept why prices are so high on them.
There are so many real screws on this thing. There are 6 screws that fasten the wing, and another 8 or 10 that do the front suspensions from what I've noticed.

@MSZ, when you install the back lid on the car, does the bottom edge touch the diffuser or is there about an 1/8" gap?

____________

edit: annnnd eBay seller accepted the offer. AMG GT Prior in Blue, $152 CAD shipped. Cost me about $10 less should I have bought it off carloverdiecast a week ago.

Came real close to biting the bullet on the IG RB RX-7 in blue.

This is arguably AA's flagship model, you just can't expect them to keep the same craftsmanship and quality into every single releases, that said since 2015 almost all of their plastic stuff have been sadly awful. This company is going downhill fast. (The two opening-only P1 GTR is $230? RLY?)

Yes there is a rather big gap between the back lid and the diffuser. Every AA Zondas I saw on the web looked the same, and of course the 1:1 looks nothing like that.

BAC doesn't look too bad.

The wheel arch isn't fully parallel with the tire's perimeter? I have to ask because it looks wrong on mine. It's like it is raised on the back end, but it doesn't seem to go down anymore.

Not the best photo, but I found your other ones. Mine definitely isn't sitting properly right now.

edit: Figured it out. I forgot these things have working suspensions. I suspend all my cars off the ground so I don't get any flat spotting. Wheels drooped a little.
