Got a new addition yesterday. This time it's the BMW M3 GTR E46 by Minichamps. It's a great model overall, windows are present, nicely detailed engine and trunk, and the interior is very nice too. But overall, the best thing about this model is the paintjob. It looks great in the lush red, and that wing is really nice. A customer racing car? Looks more like a racing car than a street car. I'd like a ride in one of these. 💡

BTW, this is my first road/sportscar model by Minichamps (my only other one is a F1 model), and I gotta say, I'm very impressed. This is also my first BMW in 1:18. Maybe get some more someday. Enjoy the pics.

Well, I have a few models... a 1/18 SLR McLaren I got the other day, a 1/18 Viper GTS-R I had forever, and a 1/24 Lamborghini Murcielago I've had for a few months. They're all Maistos.

Nice Viper mate. I was looking at the Hot Wheels GTSR:

Saw it a local grocery store for about ~$24 US, was thinking of getting it maybe. But then I'd have to get the Maisto white GTSR as well.

By the way, how is the paint on the black SLR?

Thanks everyone. The spoiler on the Viper broke off, so I had to glue it back on. But it looked sweet without it. And the paint on the SLR is pretty shiny. It looks definitely better than the Murcielago or the Viper. I'll have to do some interior shots sometime.

Also, MustangSVT, that BMW is the one I really want. But it's $50. (I'm such a cheapwad) Where'd you get it?

I got mine off ebay. I was very lucky to find somebody who lived in same town as me and was selling one, so I ended up paying only $40 US total price (no shipping charge since I just went to pick it up).

If you can get one for $55 to ~$60 including shipping, I'd say that's a fairly good price.

yeah please! im am SERIOUSLY considering making my dad become a member of ebay, im only 14 you see i really want one of those blue eb110's! ive seen one for 17 pounds, but me n dad aren't exactly way into buying stuff from the net yet. we're gonna go to hamley's in london (biggest toy shop in the world i beleive?) and see what 1:18's there are there.

not much, only £18, if you want i could buy it and we could arrange to meet up in woodford somewhere, i'll be coming down to see my girl on the 9th, 10th and 11th of this month. , it'd save you going to the trouble of buying off the net i suppose.
Although it all really depends on whether you can trust someone you dont even know (me), i'll be easy to spot cos i drive a Red Vx astra, with a big noisy exhaust .

There was a $65 Porsche 911 GT3 race car in pure white by AutoArt, but I had no cash to buy it.

I had only brought $70 to begin with for me and my 2 friends tickets at $10 a piece so that was $40 left (Thankfully, Dave bought his own ticket).
Then food and what not.

At the end of the day, I had about $20 left, and most of that went into filling Jason's Mazda.

I was really only interested in buying a McLaren model anyways (though they had nice Ferrari ones for $40). I could have used the only credit card I had on me ($110 left, I think), but I only use that for emergencies to begin with.

Anyway, I just ordered a BMW Z8 off ebay. Paid $15 + shipping for it. Can't wait for it to get here. The same seller was offering a Viper SRT-10 by AUTOart for $10 + shipping. If only I didn't already have a Viper SRT/10 by Hot Wheels,I'd of gotten the AUTOart on that kind of deal. Let me just say that the SRT-10 by Hot Wheels is probably the weakest HW 1/18 model I have.
