Yup the guy I had originally bought it from jacked me around, it came damaged and he gave me issues about returning it. I finally did and I just kind of gave up on it. But apparently the girlfriend remembered me talking about it and found it somewhere.

I just bought my first 1/18 Norev model and I must say that I was pleasantly supprised with it. I bought the Porsche 997 Turbo model and it has a very nice solid feel to it. I would rate it as good as if not better than the quality of a UT model. I also bought the 1/18 Norev Porsche 930 Turbo and the LP640, they should be here next week or so.

These aren't made by Maisto, there made by Norev.
The build quality is quite good, as good as if not better than Maisto. I actually think that there close to the quality of an early Autoart model. One of the major thing that Norev lack is the depth of detail and the quality of the rims/tires. If they ever improve is this area they'd be outstanding. The fit and finish of the exterior is absolutely beautiful.

$100? That's still a good deal since most websites are selling AutoArt's for $60-$80.The CF one is a rather expensive dealer edition sold mostly though Porsche dealers. It is made by AutoArt and if I am not mistaken costs around $100. It is definitely on my list of models to get
Only used Ebay for McLaren models way in the past. Wasn't happy with how long it took both my last 2 purchases to get here from Florida, so I stopped using it.eBay.
BTW, anyone ever checked out this site? Pretty good deals compared to most other sites I've found.

Heres my Jaguar XK '06 Convertable that I got ages ago.
It's not brilliant but it does look smart to me, in the cabinet. On my Christmas list I asked for a Porsche 911 (997) GT3 RS AutoART, so if I get that it will be a nice addition to the collection.
I'm in the process of getting three new models this Xmas.
My dad has also informed me that all my models are going to get displayed on individual Plexiglas shelves on the wall in our basement in the next couple weeks while I'm home for Winter Break. I'll post pictures of everything when it gets completed. I'm really excited haha.
